bullsnow rule!!!!
What if U both get the same message player X disconnected and player Y disconnected.... who report win/loss then??
I got buckloads of messages like that... (when we both get the disconnect message)......

okay then   I see.....  d/c = loss.....  (I guess U both report a loss then......)

logical.

if u unplug your cable same messege will appear on both screens. it s not a proof, here h4 had a plus, u could check every turn the enemy moves, here u should rely on trust and good connection

Disconnecting from game, whine remain in MSN Chat e.t.c. proves NOTHING, becouse game is wery sensitive to connection.
Seems best desision if someone suspicious about someone, not play againist hm and demand Watchers if meet in tournament.

With Watchers we can know , who disconnects and when disco can occure. I know that whatching near 6 hours can be kinda dull, but seems it is good compensation for my gamestyle to ToH.

And slo i interested in other's style.

I am curious..... what is a watcher?  And how do you watch a game?  Is there some kewl feature that I am not aware of that lets people join in and observe a game?  And if I am sitting there watching a players name in Chatroom and msn .....how does that prove whether they just turned game off or not?

Bottom line is play people you trust.... I dont mind playing newbies ....they get one chance if I have any doubt after game of there honor then I dont play them anymore simple.

Same as in Heroes 3
you put an academy, blocked from rest of map, with a grail for the third player and they can view all.. or if this doesn't work in H5 well.. Town, mountain contained + cartographers  for over and underworld.

He-he ieven not know what Tearsof Asha provides toAcademy.

but anyway player with Cartografer in closed plase seems is enough.

Also watcher can know whois "guilty for disconnect" becouse another player remained in game.

Interested  in what happened if watcher have disco... Playon auto or e.t.c. thing???

I played a 3 player game once.  Someone crashed or disconnected, or maybe it was a desynch bug... I don't know.  But whatever the case, to everyone's eyes, the other two opponents got knocked off.  So in the case of the watcher, it will be the same.  Both will seem to have logged out and disappeared.

an issue with no solution is not an issue at all

my advice: play who you like and be responsible for it. its your fault if other cheats on you.

DIEGIS

Any LOGICAL RULE IS ONLY ONE.

If someone disconnects, and not return in short time

COPY (not MOVE, becouse number can change) last save (Autosave, NOT Sure abut 1-st player if 2-nd disconnects on his turn that last modified save is right ) to another dir.

Opponent must do the same.
