Nominations for next Moderator
in the Alter of Wishes Feedback thread, we discussed what deserved a QP, but still, as we said in the thread, we need a new Moderator, so here is how we will deside, as a whole forum, one of use average joe people in the Heroes Community, (this is just nominations, NOT the voting!) a few rules a think,
1. you must be nominated by someone else
2. you can not nominate yourself
3. you can only nominate 2 people, at most
4. the new moderator must have at least 301 posts
5. the new moderator must have at least 0 quality points (stops spam people)
6. to actually be put foreward for the next Moderator, you must be nomiated 3 times
well thats about it for rules, (i will make the official thread later) this part is just for nominations, the voting for the new moderator will take place at 1st Febuary (changeable)
and i nomiate Alc, and William
Nominations
Alc: 4 votes (confirmed to be in the moderator election, and he only needed 3)
William: 4 votes (confirmed to be in the moderator election, only needed 3)
Elvin: 1 vote
GenieLord: 1 vote
bixie: 1 vote
TNT_Addict: 1 vote
Ted: 1 vote
Vokial: 1 vote
i also keep the nominations up to date

Hmmmmm.....
If I must to choose a mod, he must be active in the Altar, with no offtopics, with good english... to give advices, tolerant... and.........
I vote for:
Nobody.
But if I must vote,..... so the worthy members here are Alc and Elvin, this are my votes. But in my opinion we don't need new moderator.

well angelito, until you replied in this thread, there was almost 0 activity of Moderators in the Alter (or any other H5 forum) but then how are they chosen?

They are chosen by the Administrators and the Moderators, if they think there's a need for more manpower.

I was just wondering why you think the Altar needs more moderation?
Is there trouble brewing over here? Do threads need cleaning?
Or is this about someone to hand out more red stars?
Not criticising, just curious?

EDIT> To give an example: Several of the Topics in this forum has also been posted in the Colliseum. This clearly needs cleaning up. In fact, Genie_Lord has now receive 2 QP's for his Amphebian Town aka. Tropical - one in the Colliseum, and one in the Altar. And the posts are in fact exactly the same. *lol*

thanks for the sir striven vote (who is he?), its also nice to see Moderator movement in the Alter, perhaps be really dont need a new modeator after all, but it would help, also what does "unrelated" mean anyway?

I didn't even see Lith-Maethor ever before... And I saw Angelito about twice...
By the way, why wouldn't members choose mods? Why do they have to be elected by admins?
Mods should simply keep spam at bay and give a red star here or there cause it really means much to people (I have no idea why, though ). It's not like it's some holy duty or something. You should just make the most active members mods cause you know they'll always be around... It's as simple as that.
I usually don't vote since I'm an anarchist but now I'll vote for William, Ted and VokialBG, they're somehow always neutral and would probably make ok mods.
Alc would simply delete KD's topics and probably ban him... and then the Altar would be a much emptier place...
