IMHO, I wouldn't see H5 as a copy of Warcraft 3... I would obviously say that there were some inspiration... But as others said, warhamner served as an inspiration as well...
But what I do really think is that H5's storyline is somehow... poor... IMO, H3's storyline is much more original and interesting... Btw, Nicolai's ressurection as an Undead is obviously a copy from King Gryphonheart's ressurection in H3... which makes a much stronger relation, rather than the corruption of Arthas in Warcraft...
H3 lore was also much more interesting... Lizardmen and Gnolls were enslaved by the humans (which makes them not the good guys as they appear)... Recently freed, they were in a civil war (Gnolls X Lizardmen). Dungeon allied with demons really do conquer by strengh the Gryphonheart's land and you play as a reconqueror... but then you have to invade their land! The whole saga is much more complex in H3...
And, if I'd say H5's storyline is a copy of some game, I'd say it is H3, rather than Warcraft...

The best times for computer games are already over.We must deal with it. Every time You look at a "new" game, You see copied ideas most of the time.
But those examples which are presented here are too simple to say the game has copied something.
Especially from Warcraft III or the Exp.(And for quake's sake - write the game You are talking about. Warcraft as? Warcraft: Orcs and Humans? the sequel: the Tides of Darkness? expansion Beyond the Dark Portal? Third part of the Series or perhaps its own expansion? or are You suggesting World of Warcraft? It always irritated me...)
Some things simply melt into the canon of Fantasy games too much.
One who want's to see a complete rip-off: I suggest playing System Shock and System Shock 2, and after it: the "new" Bioshock. It isn't even copied in 100%, as SS2 was more complicated.

Finding them over the internet is not difficult. From what I can tell Both are abbandonware as Looking Glass Studio is long dead.
The real battle You will experiance will start once You will posess the game , and You will try to run under Xp / 2000. But there are methods of running them. You can also get a nice retexturing mod for SS2. Once You will start it: Play it alone, at night. One of the best Single Player games of all times.
