Maybe you forgot to add, the pricing of their troops for 1 week is almost same price as necros
You get more value out of your money.
Defence is a wasted slot.. a lot of ways to see when u play multi player games. This faction needs to do fast battles.. ending it in 2-3 turns. High defence can be achieved from the druids elders. which is abit unfair since he cast endurance with expert level +12, while archmages only does r.might with advanced level +9, are the druids superior ?
They're still quite hopeless in small maps.. but seems more games needed to be played to experiment the possibility
Imbue ballista would be great if rushed

All this talk has made me think about trying a strategy I never have with Sylvan.
Bulk of the army being unicorns and treants with Dirael as the hero. The unicorns can provide added magic resistance, maximizing the treant's high defense (which spells would bypass).
Dirael could cast wasp swarm to lower the initiative (non-dispellable) to, in effect, raise the number of turns the treants would get. Of course, the silver unicorns could be blinding like crazy, causing even more turns by the treants.
Hmmm...... Sounds fun.

I find Sylvan to be the strongest faction nowadays in bigger fights... troops fast like the wind, my beloved light spells , yummy avenger and luck. That is really hard to beat, but ... they are a little weak against rushes . I was wondering if there is a way to make them powerfull i short games too, and I think the answer lies in multi-imbue-arrow , imbue ballista combination. Unfortuantely War Machines is hard to get for sylvan ... does anyone know the actual numbers for War Machines ?

Basic number is 2 % (or 2.5 %) on each level up before and skills are learned. Learning some of the most common skills for Sylvan, like Luck, Logistics and Defence, will increase your chance to approximately 3.5 % (or 4 %) on each level up.
Once the skill is acquired, improving it will be as likely as any of the other skills.

It's 2% per level, and to be honest, I never really got much of those 2% skills in my games. Better to simply forget them, since it happens very rarely.
Towerlord, there is nothing you can do about the rushes, unfortunately. THat's why I dislike playing the sylvan faction: You can get easily rushed to death.

Same here, though I must admit I got Attack pretty much with Sylvan (three times consecutively at levels 5-10)

I always got attack with Sylvan in long games ... but I must admit it isn't so easy to get ...
