Wyngaal = banned ?
Just had a game of ossir versus wyngaal with Al Killmore yesterday.. Was trying to check out how crazy he is after i had game with betruger using wyngaal. Being on the opposite side, i now know how it feels to fight wyngaal 
hehe now i feel somehow wyngaal is overpowering and should be banned... When his emarald dragons get 2 turns before ossir's emarald dragons with morale..with both heroes no ring of speed/staff of netherworld it leads me to believe that the initiative increment is more than 2% / level
And interesting thing is ... after ossir cast mass haste(Of course... the game is already lost ), i still don't see much changes in atb bar.
P.S : I'm not aruging about a loss or anything 
But i was wondering if this hero should be banned after all ?

Both plaers decide rules for game.
Btw you know SQ97 i like you much  ....but after give us team points its alot more

That game was diasater, lost entire army in week3  but i accepted the matchup.. i was interested to see how sylvan versus sylvan wyngaal would fare in initiative.. but its horrible initiative for wyngaal again
He is not unbeatable.. but 2% or more is just way too much

I dont like bans....Wyngaal is so strong YES. I will not accept some 1 to start vs me with him....but if he get Wyngaal from taver he can use him and make main hero...or i can use him with other race too.
Rules depend ONLY from both plaers. Cant accept any other.

Yes.. i agree.. if get from tavern, just too bad its luck.. but no more choosing him i guess

i agree with random hero when set up the game. for all races.
luck is a game factor so if it's meant to happen, so be it, besides its part of the fun.

Seems ban or not is optional rules, depending on map.
Seems he rules ON BFH, but on Peninsula he can only add some chanses Sylvan to win.
I remeber situation, when play warlords vs cycleguy on BFH. Both have sylvan.
And not have Wingaal at 1-st turn. So agrree ban him later.
Seems we strongly need change his bonus to 0.5-1% on ATB.
Also i wander what we have in 2.01 description of his ability???

well, depends is a great answer to it
i guess vs a stronger player, ban is the way to go
would be fair fcorse if otherside gets one hero banned as well

Ghast is right, it depends on a map, but on maps where you get to level ~20 before meeting opponenet Wyngaal is unbeatable.

That's obviously because he doesn't change the initiative in general, but only alteres the position at the ATB bar in the first round.
And sadly it's still not fixed in 2.1, the description says 0.5% per level, while testing shows he gives 2% per level.
Not cool.

I have here some screenshots of sylvan versus haven in hourglass at 2.0 version, one was using ossir, one was wyngaal.
Game was over and player typed "gg" when it was haven's first troop turn. I feel really sorry in this game.I don't see any tactics or skills needed.. He strikes so fast and so hard its hard to recover.
The only losses were from the retaliation from the haven troops.
Final battle only took 1 min to be ended. No thinking was needed
So much difference as you can see in this battle ... much more losses.

hahaha that top screen shot was vs. me... I was the LOSER that game. Many of my losses lately have to to situations exactly like that.
BTW SQ79 where is my rematch?? Banzai!!!!!!!!!!!!!

looks as if we got our first 'official' ban rule!
HAVE YOU SEEN THIS MAN?
I only see a litel problem to this.
In case one plays sylvan ,and players go random heroes, if sylvan gets 'unlucky' to have Him as starting hero, then he has no choice but to pick 2nd hero in tavern as main, or spend mony to buy more.
As i see it, if He gets banned, who plays against sylvan, must get one strong hero banned as well

I normally would request for a restart if he is banned and starts as main hero or 2nd hero in tavern. Either way is fine anyway..
Its just some skill slots are occupied by undesirable heroes. For sylvan, vinrael, ylthin, ossir are fine for me as well. And the rest are average except dirael,just don't understand why she starts with summoning

He-he seems if someone gain "bannedHero" at day 1, then he can demand restart with same rases and taken any desirable hero (Ossir or Gilraen fro example) while opponent have random
