Trolls
In that screenshot:
it looks like trolls have 180hp.
Comparing with the known hp for the academy creatures, that would make them about the same as genies (145hp).
So the trolls would be level 3 creatures.
This would fit better than what you can see on many websites listing them as level 1 or 2 creatures. If they have the same ability as in heroes 3, this ability would mean nothing for a creature with low spell points (like 25 or 60) as they could only regenerate very few hps each turn, when having 180hps would mean about 90hps saved every turn which is not bad.
The only thing is... they REALLY don't look like a level 3 creature, they seem weak, and comparing them with other level 3 (thunderbird) which looks great makes me wonder a little bit. would it be possible that stronghold level 2 have more hps than other towns level 3 ??? This would be as a compensation for no magic, but it seems a bit too strong imho. So probably is it only a level 3 unit looking weak, which is sad for a might town  .

btw
it also looks like orcs have only a modest 12 hps, which seems vewry weak too...

Hmmm...
The troll has always been stronger than the ogre mage, so:
Stronghold
lv1: Centaur
lv1: Berserk
lv2:
lv2: Ogre Mage
lv3: Troll
lv3: Thunderbird
lv4: Cyclop
lv5: Behemoth
Would be a reasonable guess...

If I recall correctly, weren't trolls 2nd only to the cyclops in their towns in Heroes 1 and 2?

just because in that screenshot how you see the troll dead and the -180hp on him, doesn't mean that the troll had 180hp.
It could just mean that the attacker did 180 damage and the troll could of had 50hp for all we know.

My view:
In h1, troll is lv5, ogre is lv4
In h2, troll is lv5, ogre is lv4
In h3, troll is lv 4.5 neutral (just my opinion  ), ogre is lv 4
It seems NWC is quite "consistent" regarding lv of troll and ogre. So, it is reasonable to "expect" troll to be lv3 while ogre is lv2.
In h1, troll is a great shooter (with regeneration ???)
In h2, troll is a great shooter with regeneration
In h3, troll is downgraded to an average non-shooter with regeneration
In h4, it seems troll still can't remember how to shoot.
Too bad.
Yes, it does look "weak" especially when you compared it with h1 and h2 trolls.

I don't think so...
I think that spell does more than 180 damage to every creature. As you can see you have the damage done to each stack and the number of creatures killed, you can see that with the orcs :
2 stacks get 36 damage with 3 kills, one get 120 damage with 10 kills. I'm pretty sure you can guess from that that orcs have 12 poor hps, and then it seems logical that trolls have 180hps (both stacks get 1 kill, out of 1 troll).
Well that's my opinion...

Kruel: You could have revived the "Heroes 4 Beta!!!!" Thread instead of opening a new thread discussing the same thing again.
Hrmm... Last reply is currently 30th of September and the thread is now on page index 5.
Page 7 of that thread contains almost the same information (it's discussing the same picture), and I also collected known stats for all the creatures mentioned earlier in that thread.
I agree with you that the Troll has 180 HP and is level 3, the orc has 12 HP and is level 1. The reasons for that is in the Heroes 4 Beta!!!! Thread.

sorry...
about posting something already discussed...
I'm here from times ot times and simply don't have enough time to go to page 5 of these forums, i missed that thread, or i probably wouldn't have posted this.
I'll also add that i agree with the few threads posted the last few days about keeping the discussions in each forum about its topic, because for someone not having tons of hours to spend here, it's pretty tiring to see half of the posts unrelated, and pretty easy to lose motivation for going through 5 pages of threads you're not interested in.
This results in people like me reading the first page of posts and not going further because fed up with reading things maybe interesting (often not) but unrelated with the topic of the forum.
For titan : these are not goblins, they're trolls.

oh..... i always though that those were goblins hmm....
but u r right those r trolls i saw it on an other site hmm.. really dont like the new look the really looks like goblins... I want that trolls were just like HoMM 2

you said that orc COULD be in asylum... it is for sure.
The Stronghold L1's will almost certainly look like this:
1- beserker
1- centaur
I seriously doubt that beserker will be L3... thats a bit of a stretch there.... especially since we practically know that t-bird is L3 and that ogre mage is L3.
One thing i find VERY interesting is this:
we know that we will see a brand new creature in Stronghold's L2... becuase if either the white tiger or the nomad is Stronghold L2, then we'll hafta see either a flyer or a shooter in the other L2 spot... since both the nomad and white tiger cant be both of them because they are both walkers...
