Stonebreaker: new HoF scenario
Type: singleplayer scenario
Size: normal (96 x 96) with underground
Description: As a child Wyngaal enjoyed the legend of Stonebreaker, a vessel which sailed on land. Years later, the adventurous elf and his fellowship are determined to find the missing ship!
Narrative: Wyngaal met a dwarf named Bearhide, who decided to join him. The skirmisher suggested they recruit a few mercenaries in a tavern nearby. The fellowship should look for Snowbeard, the ancient warlord who is said to be the maker of Stonebreaker.
Tips: You lead a small army (akin to an RPG party), so you'll have to make the best of each creature. They say the crew of Stonebreaker is still guarding the ship, so develop your Avenger skill and focus on the undead.
Additional info: The later versions change some joiners and boost the AI's army in order to make the final battle more challenging.
Oh, you'll notice some Griffins flying around, too.
PREVIEW 1 PREVIEW 2 PREVIEW 3 PREVIEW 4 PREVIEW 5
I am aware the map (especially one of this type) would benefit from some story (at least at crucial moments). I promise I'll add several text messages as soon as I figure out the H5 scripting.
Download: You can get the map from my small site (Cartographer), along with most of my old stuff. Any feedback - good or bad - is welcome.
P.S. Yeah, yeah... I could have posted this in the MapHaven subforum... but nobody goes there.

Maybe a stupid question here, but - when I've downloaded the .zip file, where do I put it (and will I need to change file type or extract?)?

Unpack the zip file to your Maps folder.
Once you've finished playing, you may want to delete it though. I've customized several dwellings, so the scenario functions as a small mod affecting other maps (e.g. a dolmen looks like an obelisk etc).
