I like the Germans. In strategy games I always pick the German side.
I like to put ketchup on my eggs too in the morning.
As far as living standard goes, America has been kind to me. I got a job where I only have to work about 7 or 8 hours a week and I get about 1200 dollars a month. Plus medical, dental, and optical. I got really lucky though. Most people here work way more for way less, relatively speaking.
I have nothing to complain about really.

FoG, if your total (not actual out of 35-40) working hours sum up to 7-8 per week, and your work does not involve pathetic sex , can you please notify me when the next job-opportunity will arise? I will really enjoy to be a colleague of yours.
Just keep me in your mind. Please?

Only, you say.
Well, in Poland this is the average work time (40 hours per week), so it's not "only" for us
The most ridiculous places to work here are huge superstores. You work on till 10 hours, you cannot go for a piss cause you cannot leave the till or you will get fired (seriously ) and the payment is.. umm, let's see.. 130-150 euro. Plus, mobbing and overtime no one pays you for. Only biggest desperates go there.. Seriously..

Finland is where I come from, but I live in Luxembourg, a country right between Germany, France and Belgium. It's very small, but it's like one of the richest countries there is. It's full of banks and offices and no one does any manual work, since Luxembourg employs portugese people to do it for them. The minimum salary in Luxembourg is the highest in the world, if I remember properly.
Finland is not as rich but it's a good place to live in. The taxes are very high, but you get many services for free. Such as medical care and education. The education system is in fact very good. The finnish pupils got the highest marks in the tests (Forgot what they're called) that were maid to compare the scholar systems of different countries. We have the highest percentage of people who can read (100%) and the food we eat is the best and healthiest school-food in the world. Plus we get it all for free, including the food. (Well, not exactly "we" because I go to the European School of Luxembourg, but I see myself as a finnish person.)
So yeah, I've lived in nice countries

Israel.
I know that many of you will fill bad for who lives there.
But in my opinion it's the best place of the world.
In many contries there are "cold" people. So much pride! Everyone might think he is better then everyone else.
Here, being good person is not being on high class, not being reach and having the best car.
Here, being a good person is helping people, and it doesn't matter if you know them or you don't.
Just being nice to everyone, talking with people on the bus, even singing snd screeming loudly at the streets...
In has been to other countires. Everyone always think what will other people will think about him. Can't be yourself.
That what you can do here, do whatever you want without thinking what the other people will think about you. And yes-there's law and order here (not the TV show ).
When I was in other countries I missed it. This feeling of freedom. Well, what I described is mostly in the city where I live... And Tel-Aviv.
And who's afraid of terrortist can't live. No matter where. In USA, in London or in Israel.
EK, I don't like what you said.
You said that it's a bad place to live in. You said it's good only because of the interesting places. I think it's great becuase of the wonderful people.

Luxemburg,
I've been wanting to live there for a very long time. It's also in the Guiness World REcords of "Richest Country in the World."
Israel,
I'm Canadian, and I live in a Jewish area, here everyone loves Israel as much as their own lives. Ether it's a really good country, or it's just homesickness.
