Which creatures would fit each hero best?
Well, many creatures just don't fit their heroes.. might heroes don't need tanks, magic heroes have no use of fast, huge-init fragile killers (let's skip the creeping part here ;P).. So, the perfect army for each hero.. let me think..
KNIGHT
1.Familiar (anti-magic purposes, since the knights want to focus on might)
2.Blood fury (high def and lite magic would really help them survive)
3.Cerberi (only the knight has enough lightpower/def to keep them alive)
4.Imp.Griffin (good as it is)
5.Nightmare (truly night-marish thing to have for a knight!)
6.Paladin
7.Archdevil (bless works well for this creature contrary to archangel, and knight's easy access to light magic makes it fairly easy to get.. and when blessed they are the most damaging level7 unit)
perfect knight's army includes creatures with high battle potential.. I've picked cretures that light magic+high morale buffs the most. Blood furies help the creeping, familiars destroy the mages.
WARLOCK
1.Shieldguard (tanky)
2.Obsidian garg (tanky again)
3.Squire (more tanking please, great staller against shooting creeps)
4.Imperial Griffin (for armageddon lovers) OR Archmages (for their great -25% spellcost special - precious for warlocks! and great for creeping with squires/gargs as tanks)
5.Deep Hydra (even MORE tankish) OR Rune Patriarch (can make fireball as powerful as implosion)
6.Ancient Treant (next to unkillable)
7.Magma dragon (TANK!) OR Black Dragon (tanks well and kills well AND looks good )
Spell-slinger army. They tank, you kill. Plain simple.
DEMONLORD
1.Familiars (Plain old manasckers)
2.Demons (Actually they are good as meatshields for deleb's ballista when creeping)
3.Blackbear riders (great disabler, with gating that's 2x disabling power)
4.Succubi Mistresses (good with inferno specials, especially hellfire)
5.Silver Unicrons (great special, great with gating to use the gated stack for the aura and the main stack offensively)
6.Paladins (Much needed cleansing, insane melee power, great with gating for a free cleansing stack)
7.Archangel (Power of speed+always max damage+demonlord's ATT --> Insanity..)
The perfect inferno. Uses units that benefit the gating system the most, and durable enough to survive even with Demonlord's lack of DEF.
Post some of your ideas..

Good thread Doomforge
I was thinking about the same myself.
I'll come up with a list later. I totally agree for the tank and Warlocks. What they need is defence, HP and fire-immunity.

Great idea for a post. But. Well Like I find it funny that haven gets all the demons and Inferno gets all haven creatures (or almost).. But well Do the warlocks need all those tanks? what about to have 3 tanks and some power amoung them, since Warlocks have little knowledge ?

Well, with so many tanks you don;t need to take *all* of them with you, isn't it? Take as much as you think you will need to survive until your mana runs out, then run, take the other half and go back

Well, about the Devil, I don't think it benefits that much from blessing (at least not nearly as marksmen).
Minimum is 36. Maximum is 66
66 / 36 = 1.83
That means, it's even weaker than placing it on Familiars, provided both stacks are "equally" powerful of course -- you wouldn't bless 1 Devil when you have 100000 familiars, would you? Or vice versa? For griffins blessing is much better (3 times as more max damage).
Also about the Warlock needing only tank units, I disagree a bit. Warlock has good attack attribute, and his creatures are really good. Might warlocks are also good, provided they have some Summoning spells or Destructive as a back end -- I do not resort to empowered implosions. I also like Lethos: dark magic is exotic and fun with warlocks. Creatures are good, even Hydras with Teleport Assault

I ... for one , always wondered how the sylvan lineup would do in the hands of a warlock ( especially the Ancient Treant)... And I was thinking about hireing a warlock to lead my sylvanic troops in battle. I think this would be a great combo and could actually work on some maps, since warlock doesn't need any special building in his town to make use of his skill...the only problem would be the morale
Maybe a wizard, instead of the warlock would do a fine job too, with MotW and Destructive magic since sylvan town has Destructive magic as a major. I think I'll try this one... if I get Nur, Jhora or Nathir in tavern, and I'll try not to develop artificier beyond basic!
Anyway... to have a whole lineup of tanks seems a bit to extreme to me , even though it might prove very effective!

Doesn't matter, it's still the best blessed level7 unit you can have, except titan, but titans aren't much better because of their lower speed and initative.

ATT stat is not enough alone, and you will never come close to a true knight. Might Kythra may be fun to play with, but still, you get destructive-related perks and a lot of spellpower for a reason. A might warlock needs just way more work, perks, marlettos, arenas etc. to be useful, magic one needs almost nothing but a few levels, guild and maybe 1-2 artifacts from merchant in the town, that's all..
