Poll Question: To develop or not to develop?
Well hi again, my problem this time is that the final concept of my addon project- "the bloody daybreak" is the concept of somethink that is too deferent from HoMM5 to be It's expansion pack, but too similar to be a project for a deferent game.
Features:
More heroes, more scills and more spells.
One tipe of heroe per race with two subtipes and a maximum of 10 scills and 3 abilities from each.
The treaent is the betta one.
The unicorn is replaced by the pegassus ridress.
The with is replaced by the blood knight and the dead knight is replaced byb the doom's raper.
New appearance for succubus.
Each creature exept for the neutrals and the tier 7 creatures have a basic version, two options for an upgraded version, and a renegade version. Tier 7 creatures have only a basic version, an upgraded version and a renegade version. When a creature from a faction is on the adventure map guarding something it is in it's renegade version. For the creatures that have two versions for an upgrade, one version improves some charecteristics and the other one other characteristics so that the creature can become deffence based or attack based.
New way of fortificion.
Every faction has a tipe of garnison wall and garnison gate, like demons and dwarves.
A hero can build the garnison wall or gate or an entire garnison out on the adventure map. heroes on the adventure map can also build military posts or towns of different level. Every of this actions costs you resorces.
Each creature building once upgraded can be reupgraded so that the growth of creatures reqruited from it is boosted.
Each race hase a building allowing a pack of upgrades for different characteristics of different creatures.
To use a caravan you must have the building
All factions have a trade guild.
All factions have a runic guild. Once magic guild and runic guild are builded up to level 5 you can build a magic seminary where a heroe can learn light,dark,summoning or destructive magic.
When you win a battle you see the enemy heroe and some of your troops, then you give a comand from this list: Kill Him/Her1; Let Him/Her go; Seize Him/HER! In the first option the heroe is removed from game, with option2 the heroe goes to a tavern and with option 3 he goes to the prizon of your town from where you can execute him or hire him, if you don't have a prison then it costs you resorces to build one on the adventure map.
And other alike Ideas. Well what do you thing I should do.

It sounds to me like idea for a huge patch (not idea for addon) that totally changes HOMM5.
It seems interesting idea. Eventhough I don't like some of the ideas, most of them are good.
I don't like things like putting in every town Runic Guild. Only Dwarves should have it-that's what unique about them. They'll be extremely underpower if all the factions are able to use the Runic Magic.
Mabey you should tell your ideas to the team that's working of the GOTP (WoG patch for HOMM5). They might execute some of them.

2. Can I simply post there a hiperlink to this thread (at that WoG think)
3.I belive it won't be so unfare for every faction to have a runic guild. I thing it was unfare to make it unic for the dwarves, becouse that way they became too powerful.

i agree, lets give every faction artifacter and necromancy, these are the factions special skill, they lose this, well, there not much of a fight, take Necro
without Necromancy their army would be small and underpowered, they would get crused by the enemy in a month at most

I sad nothing about the dwaven recial skill, Ted thanks to it dwarves will have a priority with runic magic but I thimg that it should be useful for not only one race, or atleast let wizards have a runic guild.

my question is, how can you?
It means making 3D Models that you can put into the game, writing lots of code... If you can do this, though, count me in! I'd be happy to help with whatever modeling you need.

A bit confusing, and can be overpowered at some points. Take for, instance a scene where the enemy has taken all your towns and you need one quick, and then you, like, build a castle and yay! Problem solved!

I won't vote for enything, because I like some features, but not all.

hmm, had a good long look, overall i'd say go for it, i mean it would be sure fun to create this mod and may go a long way some day + i assume all of this you write is actually possicle and your not just having a laugh?

i think this would be great, but take off the castle building, thats overpowered

1.Guys, THIS IS A BIG MISTAKE I have NO IDEA why is this thread at the workshop I don't want to develop a mode, this must be at the altar It is a thread about a new addon features besides the new races
2.Ok, the runic guild is only for dwarves.
3.Let us say that building a new town on the map is not possible unless you have a second one.
4.What I don't like abnout the succubus is the freaky skin color- I mean the succubus is a suductress, and you must be kind of kinky to sleep with somethink grey, don't you thing
