Yeah, unit details are in now, thanx. I only overlooked some of them in detail, might try to find time to see the others through later. I like the dea of fish being food for the other units.

Summarizing Post - Final Round
For the first time since this contest began, I'm speechless. The contest is over. No more new rounds. I only wish that the Altar of Wishes will remain active as it is without the contest as well. This post summarizes the round, but I'm sure that the summarizing post of the entire contest will interest you more (in a new thread).
Well, let's start with the reviews:
The Naga Sanctuary, by Alcibiades:
What can I say? Could be pefect, just history is needed. The descriptions are very interesting, the images are amazing, this army would have so many great tactics that you planned, espically with the lakes you put on the battlefield and only your creatures can pass. The cost and the growth balances the creatures perfectly, the strong and the weak ones.
Positive:
+Nice graphical work.
+Great creatures descriptions.
+The creatures have very interesting tactical uses. Would work togther as an united army, and would have a lot of interesting tactics.
+Very well balanced.
+Skills and abilities are very creative.
+The concepts are very innovative.
Negative:
-No history.
Merfolk, by Godwine:
Very nice entry. I like the creatures and their abilities, but they are overpowered. I think that if you added the creatures' statuses, we would be able to see the whole picture, and maybe the town would be balanced.
Positive:
+Very nice creatures line up. Good creatures' names, in my opinion.
+You have some very creative creatures' abilities. Some of them make the creatures overpowered, though.
+I love the town description. I can imagine it in HOMM5. Feels like one of HOMM5 towns.
+Nice racial skill.
Negative:
-Minimal history. There should be more interesting details.
-Overpowered. Adding creatures statuses could have balanced that.
The Queraz, by Xerox:
Inpressive and creative entry. I really enjoyed reading this. Interesting history (timeline would add a lot!), I love the creatures, but there's lack of original creatures' abilities and some small balance issues. The faction feels complete and very well done.
Positive:
+Nice history.
+Very good creatures and their names.
+The images add a lot.
+I like the town idea and the explanation behind it.
+The Hero's description is very good.
+Very nice buildings.
+Good racial skill idea.
+The faction feels complete.
Nagative:
-Lack of orignal creatures' abilities.
-Many overpowered hero's abilties.
-The racial skill mostly reduces the creatures' statuses, so unless you have the ultimate, you won't want to use it.
The Nagas (1) by Mystic_Genie:
Good entry for the first time. Has some nice concepts, like the combination of sea and desert, and the way you expressed it through the upgrades and the alternative upgrades.
Positive:
+Nice history. Just add a timeline, it would help to understand it better.
+I like the idea of sea upgrades line and desert upgrades line.
+Town's description sounds pretty nice and suitable to the faction's split concpet.
Negative:
-Your army is underpowered. It's very slow.
-Original hero's abilties are needed.
-The buildings' concept isn't very good. It would be overpowered if other army (let's say Haven) comes to the town and gets extra speed from the buildings.
Depth, by Fofa:
I'm very glad you joined our contest, even if it's the final round. You have a very good history and creatures line up (as usually). This faction is very detailed and
Positive:
+Excellent history. Nice to see you used Ashan's story to make it suitable to HOMM5 timeline.
+The culture and behavour description is very good and fits well to the Nagas.
+The faction is quite balanced. Adding hit points would be good.
+Good buildings' names.
+Interesting and balanced racial skill.
Negative:
-Turtle isn't suitable for the 7th tier, in my opinion.
-The protection system of "town diving underwater" is overpowered. If stonger hero than you is chasing after you on Saturday, you get into your town, make it dive underwater until Sunday comes and you get new creatures. That's pretty unfair.
The Nagas (2) by Mystic_Genie:
Positive:
+Interesting history.
+The heroes you created are very nice.
Negative:
-The creatures line up isn't very interesting.
-This faction is underpowered, especially becuase of the low speed of the creatures.
-Lack of interesting creatures abilities.
The Tower, by Daystar:
Very impressive faction. The graphical work you added adds a lot to the entry. Besides, you put here a lot of original ideas. This entry really stood out. Well done, Daystar.
Positive:
+The concept of choosing between swamp and ocean is excellent. It makes things much more interesting and shows two different optional sides of the Nagas. Combining the rings thing with the concept is great.
+The graphical works add a lot to the faction.
+Creatures line up is very interesting. Good choise of names.
+Intriguing creatures abilities. They would have tatical uses.
+I like the concept of the racial skill, though it can be confusing with many floors and sometimes a bit overpowered.
+Innovative faction.
Negative:
-The racial skill might be confusing when you get to more than one floor above the battlefield. Players won't be able to recognize on what floor are you. Except of that, the racial skill might be overpowered when you play against factions like Inferno, that the melee army is their strongest side.
Sunken Aquarium, by Actionjack:
When you posted it, almost ten months ago, this faction was super innovative. Almost nobody had thought about these concept before. Anyway, nowadays so many people go with this direction, so it's very difficult for me to judge it. Almost all the competitors use the racial skill that its basics are in the faction you created, that's the reason it's hard for me to give it any rating.
Positive:
+Very Innovative, on its time. Was an inspiration source for a lot of people.
+Very interesting creatures. I like the names.
+Great creatures' abilities.
+The faction Balanced.
+Out of all this racial skill's versions, this is the most interesting one.
Negative:
-No history.
Winner's Declaration:
Well, this is the final round, and the most important one. ALL the competitors will get points for their work, a thing that up to now, only the 1st and 2nd (sometimes 3rd) places have gotten. Every competitors will get points according to his location on the list.
5th place: The Nagas (1) by Mystic_Genie. He gets 1 point.
4th place: Merfolk, by Godwine. He gets 2 points.
3rd place: Depth, by Fofa and the Queraz, by Xerox. They get 3 points.
2nd place: The Naga Sanctuary, by Alcibiades. Sunken Aquarium, by Actionjack. They get 4 points.
1st place: The Tower, by Daystar. He gets 5 points.

A monthly contest, maybe? there'd be more time for creating the factions, and thinking about the next round's race.
And congrats, Daystar!

Glad you had fun.
Anyway, I don't see any point to continue it. We covered all the interesting races that have chance to be included in the game. If you do want to continue, Daystar has initiated a bonus round, which is a good idea, in my opinion. I think that Dragons race won't fit in well, but I will support it if you change the race.

Good show Daystar, as well as all the other great entries.
Thx for the nice comments too, Genielord.
I support a bonus round... and Dracon is a intersting and challenging race to do. Dragons and Dracons (half dragon people) and Draks... good stuff. (also I can cheat, as I wrote one already )
anyhow, if I got some time, maybe I will be more invole with commenting and judging too.

I'd also like a bonus round, and I still want to see a half-elf faction (and no, I would not compare it to my Prison faction).
As for the contest round:
Quote: I'm very glad you joined our contest, even if it's the final round.
Hey, you asked.
Quote: Negative:
-Turtle isn't suitable for the 7th tier, in my opinion.
Huh, though I edited that yesterday. . .
Quote: -The protection system of "town diving underwater" is overpowered. If stonger hero than you is chasing after you on Saturday, you get into your town, make it dive underwater until Sunday comes and you get new creatures. That's pretty unfair.
Hmm. . .didn't think of that.

Well I'm new at the forum and i dont know where i must write these... Somebody talk me to post it in the altar of wishes but there are many discussions so... I decided to put n this one: I dont know how to create mods but there is people that knows how, so... Is it possible to make a mod in wich change the fortress because this faction is entire made by darwfs and this is pretty worry.
THE IDEA IS TO CREATE HOBBITS LIKE HEROES 2 AND CHANGE SOME THINGS:
Level 1: Medium ---- hobbit (they are really the level 2 unit of the fortress)they could be something like these:
atack:2
Defense:1
RAnger:5
Hit points: 8
damage:3-4
They could mantein the same sepecial ability... but I think there are necesary some changes to become them more... Frodo Something like change the head and the feet...
Level 2: dwarfs I dont know how to write it (im Spanish)The only thing to do is to become them a little bit stronger in order to make them a level 2 unit.
Level 3: Wolves----- Wolv Fenri
Become the bear riders a neutral unit and the wolves the level 3 unit.
The upgrade must be a bigger black wolv with red eyes. I think you can use the model of the bears to make this unit...About the other upgrade (because in the tribes of the east there are 2 possible upgrades) could be a simple wolv but with how do you say "armadura"?
and the other creatuteres as they are...
wow! I've written a little. and thanks for read me...

Not the place, actually. You'd be wanting to look in the Modders Workshop.
