Okay people... Get ready
I decided to give this thread a major boost
These are mostly easy ones, since this thread has thus far been interesting mostly just for those of us who know a great deal about films. So even if you’re not a big film guru, have a look, you might find something you know. And please Homer don’t ruin it for the others
I also have a couple of harder ones for the sake of challenge and great film conoisseurs
I know it’s a lot of images, but no need to rush, just look for something you recognize.
First one, good movie. Watched it long ago.
Next, a movie which I enjoyed, but which none of my friends liked
Then… The image is not so good, but the movie makes up for it
A generally okay film:
Never saw this one, but it’s supposed to be famous
Brilliant movie…irish people
Funny movie, one of my childhood favourites. Jack Black is great
Haa, I love this. Great idea & plot. Funny. Starring Eddie Murphy, as you can see.
Good film, at least I liked it
Fantasy…dragons…You know the type, but which movie is it?
Ah, football! The image is not so good but try to cope.
Another one from this person…Even better than the previuos one IMO.
Again, a very good film. Based on a childhood true story.
What can I say? Clint Eastwood
This was extremely funny…The picture only shows one person, but I think you’ll be able to figure it out.
This one is delightful in its own way…I liked it.
You know that face and you’ve learned to love it. Now to identify the film.
A very good mixture of acting and animation...You just gotta love it.
Intersting movie but I don’t remember much about it.
And finally…Based on a very nice book, a good film. What more is there to say?
So that’s it… A total of 20 screenshots.
Enjoy!
Oh and by the way, if you were looking for the really, really easy ones, you’ll know that there were none. I had to draw the line somewhere, too easy would just have been…too easy
Now let’s see how quickly these will get used up!

Sings "Living in a America" Hey why can't i spoild your fun Spectrum?
Just some of them:
Trading Places
Dragonheart (Finnish name was Last Dragon)
Space Cowboys was suprisingly good Clint movie
School of Rock is probably that Jack Blacks movie (haven't seen it yet)
Curse of the Jade Scorpion is the Woodys movie
and... well that is enough for now

I've seen some of these movies, but as usual I don't remember most of the names, so I'll give a one sentence description instead.
-The movie with Jack Black is indeed School of Rock.
-Eddie Merphy movie: It's probably the one where a thief (Merphy) and a rich guy get swindled by the rich guy's "friends" and are forced to exchange places for a while.
-1st Woody Allen: probably the Jade Scorpion as Homer said.
-2nd Woody Allen: maybe Great Aphrodite? (or smth like that)
-John Cleese: a wild guess - is it the one where he plays a zoo manager?
-Murray: again don't remember the name, it's about his organism that fights an evil virus (well, one particle of his organism and a cherry-flavoured pill).
That's it I think.
Why can't I just remember the names...

Spectrum, the idea is that one person posts one picture, then someone else guesses it, then they post one picture, and so on.
Not one person posts 20, that just throws the whole thread into chaos...
Has anyone said that the 13th one is Stand By Me? with River Phoenix
edit.
i clicked 'post reply' before trogdor but obviously 'submit' after him

Are you kidding? Dodgeball wasn't great, but the man is a legend! Haven't you seen Anchorman (Ron Burgundy), Night at the Roxbury (Steve Butabi), Stranger Than Fiction (Harold Crick), Talladega Nights (Ricky Bobby!), Wedding Crashers (Chazz, his scene is the greatest in the movie), or Austin Powers (Mustafa)?

Ted...Ted?
Yeah I guess that was the original idea but...I had nothing to do. And now there is something for everyone to guess.
Anyways, most of them were correct, except for Geny's second guess for Woody Allen.
Dodgeball is funny. In it's own silly way.
Still some left...

I know a lot of people find his movies very funny, but for me, they are the epitome of lousy humor. Anchorman - yes, I sat through the WHOLE thing - was horrible, but Dodgeball was even worse - and no, I did NOT sit through the whole thing. The new one, what is it called, Blades Of Glory? - looks as horrible as the rest of them!
But, I know, each to his own, this is just not my type of fun. Give me a good chick flick instead, normally there are more honest laughs in those! And talking about that ... anybody who remember where we saw these delightful starlets? [Don't remember if the movie has already been up here, but I think it hasn't.]

Yeah Will Farrell sucks. Although Alc you should see a film called 'stranger than fiction' which has Will Farrell in it, it is very good (and he's good in it too), not at all his typical role.
