Why was this removed?
Heya Homm V fans! Just had a question. Why was the incoporial special removed from the spectral dragons? To me it kinda made sence and also could justify their high Mercury costs. Even if it as like 25% or even 15% it would be better than it is now, well I think. As it stands I kinda just laugh at them when I see em. If there are any threads on this already mentioned could you link it or help me find it? This is my first time to these boards so I'm kinda new at this .

I didn't know that the Spectral Dragon had incorporeal ability once (or in beta version?). But this could be an answer: The growth of thease dragons is the most in the game: 3 per week with castle and +1 building (Dragon Tombstone). In a short time you can earn quite a lot of dragons. Compare the nuber of them and the incorporeal ability: there would be 50% chance not to hit them. Spectral Dragons deal the most average damge however they would be a bit overpowered with the incorporeal ability.
Hope I gave an answer to you...
P.S.: Welcome in HC!

First of all, welcome to heroes community.
You can find useful information here.
About the Spectral Dragon:
I don't know if they had the 'Incorporeal' ability at all. However, if the have, they would be overpowered.
Right now, they are average 7th level creature (consider the growth booster).
They have great tactical use (the 'Weakness Attack' ability, for example).
I truly think that 'Incorporeal' ability isn't needed.

bah, weakness at pre-basic level simply sucks! Why not 'expert' mastery?

I wasnt sure if they had it or not, I've just heard it floating around out there that it did at one point. I know the growth rate of these guys are nice, but I hardly see a weakness attack being worth the extra mercury. Perhaps if they just lowered the cost of that I would be a happy camper.

They once had incorporeal ability in beta test, and that made them so overpowered as PC logic would always be against you and the chance of that working against AI was more like 80-90 percent. So they decided to remove that ability to give additional growth building and now they even gave ability to raise those from fallen green/black dragons and manticore.
