It's just to show the location, however you gain some good attack for completing the objective.

Last Mission. I get to the besieged Duncan on day 6, which completes one of the objectives. Then I get rid of nearby red hero, but nothing happens. I began to kill all stacks surrounding the town.
When I pass the turn, Duncan goes out of the castle, kills some stacks... and is killed by approaching orange hero. But the game does not end!
Next turn I have a serious fight with orange army and survive only with a stack of Assasins. There's blue castle I can't interact with and massive guards all round. Soon another orage army follows me...

There's something definitely wrong in here, but I can't find out what.

Is it only me, or is the first mission of the Dungeon (mixed?) campaign very difficult?

I cannot figure out how this mission is even possible with no reinforcements. I play at Hard, and have normally no problem minimizing losses, but going through all those fights without eventually running out of troops seems to me to be impossible.

In other words, I  believe I am doing something wrong, something I am not supposed to.

I have restarted the mission three times. The first time after leveling up and fighting against many unnecessary neutral stacks before finding out that there were no reinforcements and no way to go. The second time I was more careful but still the 40-50 Druid Elders in the right upper corner seemed the only possible way to go - and with no army left gave up. The third I just ran there without seeing any Seer Huts or anything, beat the Druids, and explored the bottom half of the map, but then I realized there was no more troops to get in the entire map.
The only sacrifical-creature I have killed so far, is the one you get to in the NE portal (guarded by Griffins). They are 40+ Dark Raiders. If all of the quest stacks are this hard, I am curious how you guys have managed to beat this mission so easily.

I have exactly the same problem with you.I think that the place of the rite is somewhere near a Redwood Observatory, but the monks and the leaches blocking the way-in are too powerfull to beat!Another fact is that all of the magic altars give level 3 summoning, dark and light magic (every school except from DESTRUCTIVE ) and Yllaya is actually useless, even with the Warlock's Luck and the Advanced Destructive Magic skill that she obtained!

what a glitchy game. In the first mission I discovered the position on where to dig but it's in the scripted part when the mission ends, right next to the observatory( or whatever it's called) so I can't get it... what a waste of my time...

Umm ... the Obelisks in that mission do not reveal the location of a Tear of Asha, but the spot from where you can observe the secret meeting. Which is, as you got, right next to the observatory.

Thanks, but I figured it out. I forgot to visit a Hut and even tho I have killed all the creatures, the game would not give me the prize for it... so it's still a glitchy game but it was my mistake too. Now I'm on the 4th one and it's all smooth

Please help me with advice ... my console doesn't work ( i have done everything i was supposed to ).
If you don't know how to beat Lazslo , please give me a save ... it's mission 5, second Campaign of Hammers of fate ( normal I think ).

A lot depends on how you've built your Wulstan, you ought to have fireball and ignite, helps a lot to clear mines in the beginning but also in the fight against Laszlo. It's also a good idea to get all spells/runes and visit all the stat bonuses in previous missions. I did it on Heroic and he was hiding in his town the entire time, here's the key:

Split troops between Wulfstan and Duncan so that they both can creep effectively and visit all the obelisks as fast as you can, as well as gathering resources to build your town. Once you have the Blazing Anvil (shouldn't take longer than 2 weeks) you'll easily grow strong enough to play with Laszlo, a snowball in hell had a better shot than he did.

This mission isn't that hard, the very first days are crucial though. You don't have any spells so you need to pick up destructive magic and secrets of destruction (randomly adds a destructive spell to your spellbook). You cna creep almost everything using your Blood Furies, but skip those stacks of monsters mentioned in the sub-quest for now. Once you've done everything you can, go for the druids and deploy only useless stacks such as minotaurs and kill them with your magic. Head underground and ascend on the other side, head south and pick up the scroll of resurrection. From here it's a piece of cake even on heroic, just preserve your troops well. Oh and do the sub-quest, you'll understand.

I had DESTRUCTIVE-Secrets of D.-MoF.-MoS./LIGHT-MoW.-Ref mana-Twilight/LOG-Path-Scout-Tele Assault/
SORCERY/ATTACK-Arch-Battle Frenzy

...was considering dark but since HoF has the spell tomes and it's top spells only nead power-not
mastery, I didn't choose it, btw twilight gives great ressurect and though I rarely use the spell-
word of light had almost 2x the dmg I used to see

Mission 4:
you will have less then 2 months till Thralsai arrives, so you will really have to hurry if you
want to visit all the power ups- THE TELESCOPE NORTH OF THE FORTRESS TOWN
(oh, takeing it gives the 4 dwarven king items)
GIVES 4 POWER AND 4 KNOWLEDGE TO THE 1ST HEROE YOU VIST IT WITH!

The best way to do this mission is going above with Ylaya right on day 1 - head north -
visit red key tent- go SW for the telescope and fortress town- go by the upper-mid portal
for the unicorn bow and stat boosters and then for the black dragons (attack, they will join Ylaya),
or port home first and get the 4 stat boosters Raelag and Isabel have cleared because:
WHEN THE DRAGONS JOIN YOU THRALSAI WILL APPEAR-OTHERWISE AT AROUND MONTH 2 WEEK 3
in the mean time use the 2 other heroes to get mines and dwellings from mid and sides-take out
units from gates and kill the 3-3 soulscar heroes each week, they might even lvl from that.

All the soulscar heroes went straight for the town when I played, so after you flag everything
you can keep Raelag in town and portal from NW to fortress town with Isabel for light spells and
to get some of the stat boosts, since Raelag will not be in the last mission

I had a funny bug with the fourth mission when I played the campaigns again recently. When the second wave of Soulscar heroes showed up, I had Raelag in the town killing the ones that came from the left, while Ylaya was at the crossroads at the right side and killed one of them but left the other one alone, and for the rest of the mission that hero just stood still there not doing anything, and no further soulscar heroes spawned, until Thralsai showed up, which also was weird because he ran right outside my castle, but didn't attack, just standing there, so I just waited a couple weeks until I had greatly superior army to his and then attacked him and beated him easily. I had Ylaya in the castle with Raelag and Isabel both hiding in the gold mine room just north of the town.
