Non-HoMM interests.
Okay, we're all a bunch of HoMMaholics. We also seem to be chatty, chummy, and some of us are just a little bit freaky. (Those who know what I'm talking about know that they're them. *LOL*)
But who else does anything but play HoMM, sleep, and work/go to school all day? Here's another "getting to know you thread": what ELSE do you enjoy in your spare time?

Hi there, G-less.
These are my hobbies:
I play the electric bass (3 or 4 years now)
I play soccer
I like hiking in the mountains in summer and cross-country skiing in winter
I am also a sucker for sports (anything but golf and horseback riding  )
And, you know, I hang around with friends to, but so does everybody, I guess.

-Been playing 6-string guitar for two years now, but I stopped for the most part due to a broken jack.
-I've been a HUGE fan of pro wrestling for many, many years now. I saw the nWo in its first month of existence. I think that's an idea of how long I've followed it non-stop.
Beyond that, I don't really do all that much. Working 3-11 PM really doesn't leave much for socialization except with your co-workers, and I'd rather not see more of most of them than I have to.

Well...
I write a book, go to Uni, pretend to study. Also love chatting on the phone and writing long mails. Though I don't do a lot of it any more. Going for a walk is fine as well... things like that

My primary offline hobby involves the Society for Creative Anachronism, a world-wide medieval re-creation group. This takes up a lot of my weekends sometimes. (Been doing it for about 20 years, so I guess you could say it's my main hobby).
Other things occupying my life are reading both good and bad books, taking care of The Dog, and letting my 9 year old niece wrap me around her little finger every time she visits out here. When my niece isn't here, my god-daughters are often spoiling me and The Dog rotten and vice-versa.

Una - I saw SCA do a demo at a gaming convention once. It was pretty neat.
I like a lot of things:
Music - listening, as well as trying to play guitar and piano.
Games - computer, card, board, role-playing, etc. I also like modifying, criticizing, and writing about games.
Reading and Writing
Computer - programming, graphic design, web design, writing, chatting, and games again.
outdoors - Just like wandering around in forests, climbing on stuff, and taking pictures.

You probably don't want to know me, but I like chatting at chat to be in the english room, play the saxophone (alto, and sometimes soprano) in the brassband, I do jiujitsu (self-defence, got green belt) , judo (got blue belt) and like computergames and internet in general.

I love to play fotball(soccer)Goalkeeper(can't wait till my season starts again)
I like to ski, go hiking, play hockey and play any kind of games(Board, cpu, etc.)
Ocasionaly I play tennis, voleyball and basketball. WEll guess that's sort of it.

The things I like to do.....
My first hobby would be music. I always have my stereo on, listening to some R'n'B. I'm also a professional dancer so I'm forever gettin' jiggy wit' it, lol!
I'm also a bit of a movie buff and I like to keep in shape. World of good it's doing me though. My stomach just keeps getting fatter and my arse is like an inflatable raft.
I scribble pictures and paint canvasses every now and then when the *mood* takes me and I like to go shopping pretty often. LOL I can see you gasping already! (i.e. she likes to shop=stay away from her!)
I also like sss...... I let you guys figure that one out...
Most people say that I'm interested in far too many things. My list of interests could go on forever, but I find that to take interest in many things gives you the ability to converse with people on all sorts of levels. Computer gaming is one of those levels.

PS: My other hobby is.... *yawn!*.... sleep....
