Svarog - the resurrection
Hi lads, how have you been?
I see old habbits die hard for some people. Still here, in spite the fact they're oh so old and oh so married. (u know who u are)
Things have changed in the last two years for me:
I'm in the US now (a former ideological foe) studying physics at Harvard. Thinking of going into economics. I've softened my socialist ideas since then (as they say, "young and not a socialist - you have no heart; old and still socialist - no brain." ) well, i'm transcending there slowly. If I get any more of bloody Mankiw economics over here, then definately.
Sexwise, I discovered the intricancies of boy love (well, boy sex to be more honest. And precise ), about the time when i quit hc two years ago. Partly, asmo's fault, lol, i think i had a crush on him back then, after a series of long msn conversations into the night. May his hc presence rest in peace.
I'll be living in Germany next year for some time. This summer traveling to Spain, Kenya, backpacking European music festivals. (anyone care to join?)
I may cause a lot of wrath and disappointment by saying this blasphemy, but I have to confess - I still havent played heroes5... Ever!
Other then that I'm still the same stubborn, egoistic bastard that I've always been.
Questions...?
ps: proof of my true existance - me and my awesome sketchy ballroom partner from Ghana (compare and notice in addition how aristocratically corrupted I've become)

Hey welcome back.
Although I was not here when you left, it is good to see old people (at the forum) to come back.

Is this some kind of trick to infiltrate and undermine the enemy from within?
I thought you escaped left for good, but I guess it wasn't a clean break. Welcome back.

Hello Svarog. Welcome back.
I'm quite sure you have no idea whom I, but I've seen your old posts, and they seem to be great.
In the last months, all the old users on HC (atleast the mods ) have talked about how good was long time ago, in 2005, for example.
As a new member (joined in November, 2006), that wasn't here then, I want to know what was then.
So, can your ressurection bring back the old days?
By the way, why don't you use your old account?

You can't bring back the old days.
All we can do is make what we have now the best, and use this time wisely
And I too have read Svarog's posts, like many old member's, I have read their posts.

Never saw you around, but I read your posts; like GL and William. We're sort of the new generation around here... But you'll get used to it in time. We seem irritating only for the first couple of years...
No need to be pissed off about leaving the teachings of Marx. Basically that was all the same crap as aristocracy, except there was more red stuff, horribly long and pointless quazi-philosophic sentences and workers were in even worse condition...

I Have Missed Your Arguments

Indeed I do. But I suspect this insignificant internet forum offers more than simple habit indulgence. That is why I'm still here and it might have something to do with why you came back. There is a quality about this place. I can't quite place my finger on it. I think Valeriy's formula in creating this place is highly underestimated. That fellow is far more intelligent than many would bother give credit to. He certainly has my respect.

It seems we have discovered a new quality about you. You have proven the ability to adapt to your environment quite successfully. This is not something easily come by. It is a trait found in many great leaders and organizers. Thus being able to bring together people who are easily repulsed by the smallest arguable differences. A good leader defeats the odds by organizing people where none suspected it was possible.

Not I, but someone else perhaps.

Neither have I. Nor have I played since Heroes III several years ago.

On some levels perhaps, though I've only ever read about your ego side. I don't believe you are stubborn in the slightest, not one bit.
Quote: Questions...?
If you decide to leave again, will you make an attempt to drop by at least once a year? I would enjoy listening to what you have to say. In the past I had many disagreements with you, but I have missed you none the less.

I'm not sure you ever met Svarog, should I introduce you perhaps?
Svarog, it is great to hear from you
I personally have always found you to be egocentrical and stubborn, but those are two of the things that make you so fun to have around Never change that!
I do hope you keep in touch, you've really been missed.
PS: Does this mean that there is an even higher chance of unidentified goo in North American waters?

They've always complained about how good it was "back then". In 2005, they were lamenting 2003. In 2003, they were lamenting 2001.
SO, it's either that the quality of HC has been constantly degrading ever since, or just these invications of the mythical time, the "good ol days", are how this community appreciates itself.
Quote: So, can your ressurection bring back the old days?
heh, no, for said reasons. Besides I dont plan to post actively. There's so much fun stuff to do out there.
Quote: No need to be pissed off about leaving the teachings of Marx. Basically that was all the same crap as aristocracy, except there was more red stuff, horribly long and pointless quazi-philosophic sentences and workers were in even worse condition...
Thank you for your advice, wise one.
Consis,

Angelito, i'm too much in love with public transport for that.
