"Wrath of Sandro" campaign mission
Was disappointed to find Yog was not the same when starting the Unholy Alliance campaign in Shadow of Death. The other heroes in the later missions were unfortunately fakes as well, but I managed to get through their portion of the campaign.
But now I'm stuck on the first "fake Sandro" mission in campaign 5. Sandro starts at level 25 with no spells. Luckily he at least still has the two evil combined artifacts.
The first time I tried this mission, I got into early week 2 with a few dozen liches raised by the necromancer combined artifact. But then, to my dismay, through the nearby portal came an enemy hero with Black Dragons and the spell Armageddon. On week 2, with almost no army or spells of my own, needless to say that ended the mission real quick.
So after not playing from disgust for a few days, I tried again. This time I only made it to day 3 before an enemy hero used Dimension Door to hop over the mountain range, ambush Sandro, and promptly cast Implosion on a stack of liches. You can guess how that fight turned out.
Does anyone have any tips for this mission? Is there any way to get my Sandro from the previous campaign back (who would at least have a fighting chance spell-wise)?
