All the names sond pretty good to me. I don't see why people keep pounding into the poor golems. We didn't have obsidian golems in Heroes 3. That's true. But we can't call them gold golems either, because gold golems were just...golems with high magic resistance. Obsidian golems are a treasure, in the right hands  . If I recall right, Storm Lord comes from Might and Magic VI, as one of the three types of titans there... or maybe it's just me.

First of all, the Blood Witch is a no-no. We already have the Shadow witches dang it! That's just lack of creativity. I suggest something like ELITE MAIDEN or something like that.
3.Minotaur Captains - bad. First of all, the other upgrade are GUARDS. I don't like the idea of making an upgrade, which makes one of the alternatives as a higher rank, than the other (if we use all sort of ranks here, like the military ones or the vizier/sultan ones for the djinns). Let's just call them MINOTAUR GLADIATORS. Sounds more fair to me and I think it describes their new powers, much better.
4. Black Rider - Black Raider, all the way.
5. Acidic Hydra - I think it's time for the CHAOS HYDRA to return XD
The dragons are good, although it is kinda funny to turn a black-looking shadow dragon, into a red one. But then again, it was possible vice-versa in heroes 2 and 3.

Pit Spawn - Not bad, but Balrog would fit better, in my opinion.
Archdemon - first of all, this was supposed to be a devil, not a demon! There's a big difference between the two types of creatures. And you could call them Devil Overlords.

I think they are pretty good, except for the white unicorn...All unicorns are kinda whitish...Just call it, War Unicorns or something, like in the good ol' days 
Anger Treant is also ...not good. Just call it Treant Warrior. I'm sure that's not so bad.
As for the Rainbow Dragon...We could have a Sapphire Dragon, if one is emerald...

With the new Fortress alts. out, i must say those are better - Battlerager can be discussed , but its better then bonecrusher.. - And thunder thane when its fire speccedd?!
But rest are making good glory to the little men... and one big guy-

I just say "Slayer" is the best name you could come up with for the new Brawler upgrade (+attack to large creatures)It should had the same trait as Halflings had in HOMM IV

Horned Slayer sounds awesome. Doomhound like I said is what I would pick. Oblivion Charger has too many syllables, makes it hard to say. Hell Stallion would be my vote. Instead of Abyss Fiend, why not Abyssal Lord. Gives it more authority. I still go with Grand Devil as the alternate for Archdevils.

I would disagree with Pale Zombie. Rancid zombie sounds cooler. Vampire count is awesome!! I'd go for Demilich rather than Lich Master. Everything else is cool. I'd change poltergeist to banshee though.

I can't agree on Blood Queen cuz Queen denotes that this unit is a high tier unit. I'd suggest something like Blood Rogue. Acid Hydra to Chaos Hydra. Dark Ravager sounds cool.

Gold Golem for me still. For nostalgic sake. Kshatri means warrior which I think should be moved to the unupgraded unit and Queen promoted to alternate upgrade. To end the Storm Lord debate, the unupgraded unit should be a Giant, the upgrades Colossus and Titan. That would be awesome.

Stone defenders fine with me. I'd change all the bear names though. Grizzly Rider for bear rider, Kodiak Rider for black bear rider and Polar Bear Rider for white bear rider. And they should make the polar bear a lot whiter. Runekeeper is a good name IMHO. Battlerager could become giantslayer. I agree that stormlord should replace thunder thane.
Now we'll have to wait for both Haven and Bastion upgrades. Next week I'll betcha it's gonna be Haven.

Haha,Sharpshooters are almost the same thing as marksman,dude. Grand Hunter sounds like some noble - not for elves,why not...  Ranger would fit perfectly,but that's already hero class...I dunno,Sharpshooter sounds good to me...

So that was his name in HOMM3, but didn't we get past the "everything must be like before" attitude?
And what's soooooo wrong about Horror Dragon? A dragon that strikes horror in the hearts of men ain't cool[i/] enough for you?

I thought they had every colour of the rainbow? Rainbow = Gay symbol. By the way, Gay implies both sexes, not just the males.

That's simply because "Ghost Dragon" sounds awesome. Horror Dragons sounds.... Less awesome.
