Sure now about that, how long do you think each round should last?

Well I just moved on when there were a suitable amount of entries, say 7 or 8 maybe - you could go for a fixed time limit, but ignore it when reached if you haven't got enough entries. Say a week maybe. Would make it easier to judge perhaps.

Okay guys since we have enough submissions I think I'll just end this round tomorrow or maybe tuesday, I'll post the winner and runner up and start the new round then.
In case anyone is wondering scores will work like this, first place takes 3 points, second place takes 2 points and everyone who participates gets 1 point. There may be a bonus round or something where you can get additional points through special achievements but I'm still figuring how that is gonna work out.
Anyways, have fun!

I guess but I don't think it would be fair to other people since most people can use ms paint but not everyone can do an animation (personally I have no idea ).
Anyways, round 1 is over. Gnollmage you can start judging already
Winner and new round will be posted tomorrow morning.
EDIT: I've decided to compile every creatures in one image so everyone can see all the creatures more easily, you can check it out on the first post, lemme know what you think. If there is an error or I missed someone please let me know.

I don't think that everybody can do animations, so I think that if you do animations, then you get an equal chance of winning say if you did it in ms paint, just to make things fair.
btw, I might compete in this as well

I'll try to do bigger creatures but keep in mind that in Heroes 3 (non wog) monster sprites are pretty uniform in size... nothing stands out as particularly small or big except maybe behemoths or sprites.
Anyways, this was a hard one, the winner of Season I is Kookastar with his creature Mr. Foogles and the runner up is Firgon with his Magic Forest Sentinel.
It was a tough decision between the two but ultimately Mr. Foogles appealed the most to me with his unique and amusing look, he really is a quirky fella. I really liked the Sentinel because it doesn't have the look of one monster, I think this was the problem with the other entries, that they looked too much like a modified version of one of the creatures instead of a new breed altogether, in any case they were still good, the Sentinel is great because it looks like something completely unique and it looks natural, great job Firgon. In case anyone is interested, GnollMage rated the Sentinel the highest.
So Kookastar gets 3 points, Firgon gets 2 points and everyone else gets a single point for participating.
Now lets start with Season II!
For this season I've picked three monsters: The Efreeti, The Gorgon and The Rogue
And this is my take on the mix, I call him Gongorcito:
I'll edit in a scoreboard and the Season II creatures in the first post in a moment.
