Who's your favorite tax collector?

given the hero alone, and ONLY that hero (like the hero sub-tournament), which of these money grubbers would you prefer and why?

options:

Castle
----------
- Caitlin
- Cuthbert
- Lord Haart

Rampart
----------
- Jenova

Tower
----------
- Aine

Necromancer
----------
- Clavius
- Nagash

Inferno
----------
- Octavia

Dungeon
----------
- Damacon

Conflux (versions 3.2 or 4.0)
----------
- Grindan
- Gelare
- Erdamon

sorry, no filthy rich barbarians or beastmasters  :|
am I missing one here?

as for me, they all make great scouts but I can't decide...

Clavius, but only for looks.  Somehow, you don't wonder how he gets the meny everyday, it's who he scares it out of.

Grindan will make for a perfect main hero. With some luck he can use expert slow at level 3, now that's frightening.

Aine is my favorite because her scholar will allow her to teach and learn all sort of spells after only a few level-ups. I used her a lot in H3 campaigns.

Grindan

He starts with basic Earth magic and is a Conflux hero. Conflux is the most powerful town in my opinion and the magic uni can be devastating. Speaking of that, Gelare is just as good.

I really like aine, she not only contributes to the cause with gold, she is a great scholar hero to have and if you get lucky can have exp scholar and adv wisdom at lvl 4

good ideas and logic so far

Octavia is also a scholar like aine ... but I think tower needs that gold a lot more.

To be honest, I think earth magic is a little bent: it has ALL the best spells except for a few, so grindan's also a great choice.

I would pick Clavius over Nagash, because I prefer death knights over necromancers.
