That's right folks, now is your chance to own your very own username@heroescommunity.com e-mail forwarder!

No can do chap, just a forwarder. You need an existing e-mail account elsewhere. This @hc address will simply forward incoming e-mail to your existing e-mail account. Neat way for HC buddies to remember your difficult e-mail addy.

And then what?
Send me an e-mail using the link below this post. You need to tell me which e-mail address your forwarder should forward to. It must be the one you check frequently.

No, just your username in lowercase. This is to make it consistent and easy to remember for other users.
Okie, and are there any rules?
Don't misuse it. Don't post the e-mail address on the forums as spambots can grab it and annoy you to bits with spam. You can post it as: username at heroescommunity.com. Because there is no @, the spambots won't grab it.
Anything else I should know?
Your username will be included in this post, so everyone will know that you have an HC e-mail forwarder. This is to make sure that everyone who has one is easy to contact from here.
Will girls like me more for having an HC e-mail forwarder?
No, they will think you're a geek.
Who needs girls anyway... And how long is the wait once I request one?
Depends on how busy I am, so no promises. But at least monthly.
What if I change ISPs later and lose my e-mail account?
That's the cool thing about it - request to update your HC forwarder's destination, and the same HC address will point to your new e-mail account!
 2024 UPDATE: the free e-mail forwarders are being turned off on 15th Jul 2024. 17 years was a pretty good run but unfortunately the provider is now discontinuing this service. I sent a notification to all users.

Got three stars... I can get it, right? So it would be baklava at heroescommunity.com...
I currently have a baklava at strompost.com email.
Edit: do not post e-mail addresses on the forum without breaking them apart.

It is only a mail-forwarder, so you would retain your old e-mail, but people can contact you by writing to baklava(at)heroescommunity.com, and the mails will be forwarded to your other mail.

And as for mods, they can get one regardless of QPs. They will also appear blue in the directory, which is esp fitting for pandora!

HC members don't need to remeber your email adress anymore, they just type your username and add @heroescommunity.com!
But I can check email in profile...
That's exacly what it's made for!!! You don't need to check!!! You must only remember username!!!
Then I must check if someone has HC forwader.

What if you have three reddies, and get yourself a forwarder, but then steal soup fro-- um, drop one of them somewhere and are left with two? Is your forwarder confiscated?
