What you say applies on the shooter's turn, to aim at targets. I agree with you. The more difficult point I had in mind was knowing the shooters range on another unit's turn, to decide where to stop...
Which is something we don't have in H5 right now either.

Isn't this something that was already in H4?
However, i like it (I was thinking about the same thing for a while).
I'm not sure would it bring more use or abuse to heroes system.

It could by a Wogy thing, where you can just have the standard Full or 1/2, or you can have the whole range thing.
