The continuing saga: The Hi-jinx of VF and Setitetart
As promised my post about the debauchery that was our (meaning VF and I) trip to a site by the name of “Big Bad Baby Names”.
I have other ideas about what it should be called, but I will just keep that to myself.
To be honest it started out as an accident. In more ways than one.
But as many of you have come to see, when VF and I get together, it can be quite amusing.
I would warn you, and say that it is worse when we are physically around each other, but alas, living in different states, we don¢t get the opportunity to mess with people a whole lot unless we are online.
So the story starts out simply enough.
I was talking to antipaladin online, and we were talking about names, I had told him that near to my knowledge I was the only Tayandy out there and said he could Google it if he wanted.
I¢d checked it before, but hadn¢t recently so I figured WTH. I pulled up Google and typed in my name.
There were the usual entries for Tayandy Russian, and a few other random bits like people who have the name Andy Taylor or some other variation thereof, and end up with Tayandy as their email address.
About 5 pages in, I saw both my name and my daughter¢s name in what appeared to be a forum talking about our accident we¢d been in about 2 years ago.
I clicked it because I am nosey like that.
Imagine my shock and surprise to see that they were calling our names “horrid” and “hideous”.
Comparing my daughter¢s name to something you¢d get at a McDonalds if they served beer. A “McAle”, which by the way is NOT the way, her name is pronounced.
I was peeved. Ask poor antipaladin, I must have scared the holy beejeezus out of him I was so angry.
So upset that I went in search of the site to see what the hell their issue was. More so, I wanted an apology. Those posts had been made just days after an accident that my daughter and I were lucky to escape from.
VF and I found that site.
I registered since there didn¢t seem to be any way of contacting the offenders otherwise, and wrote to the people in question and to the head honcho of the site stating my case.
What I got back was the most hateful, nasty responses I have ever heard, and believe me, these ears and eyes are far from virgin.
That was probably the beginning of the end right there.
I spent the rest of my time there trying to defend myself against this flock of vultures and their ugly pretentious, snotty ways. And that is putting it mildly.
Enter VF.
Even though I expressly told her I¢d handled the situation, she¢d had enough and registered as well because she had a few things of her own she wanted to say.
I love this woman. More than words.
She posted a thread:
”Hunter Gather and her sidekick Tiamat decided back in 05 to makes some pretty disturbing comments about my niece and her daughter just two days after a horrible car accident almost took their lives.
They tore apart MACAYLE and the unique name TAYANDY, which both of them has interesting meanings to them.
They made gross remarks about the child¢s name being that reminiscent of a McDonalds wanna be beer. Not to mention speaking about the character of Tay¢s mother naming her that.
These disrespecting people have tried to justify themselves to my niece by saying they were referring to names not the people behind them.
Here is an idea for you; why don't you people get a life. mothers that have nothing better to do then talk about their child¢s names and how great or crappy they are.
You all need to get laid by a football team, aren¢t your husbands tagging you from behind enough. Maybe one of them should slap you in the back of the head to knock the senseless crap out of your mouths.
So tell me mean mommies are your children all going to be raised as a bunch of judgmental peeps such as yourselves?”
We raised some hell over there for the short time we were in.
Can¢t really say I had a bad time doing it either.
I have never laughed so hard at a group¢s collective ignorance and crappy attempts at putting me down.
VF made some comment about a “cat pole” that NONE of those women knew WHAT it was.
What really cracked us up was that they totally stole the word and started using it.
never mind they hadn't a clue WHAT it was, for all they knew it was some infectious disease or worse.
But they loved it and used it, and continue to use it.
Someone¢s kid brother had to let them know WHAT it was. I saw that and effectively snorted coffee through my nose.
and still one of those vapid women has the line:
”Get off my cat pole” under a picture of her son Augustin.
For those of you that don¢t know what a cat pole is:
It is another name for a pole a stripper dances on.
Don¢t you suppose that a saying like that would be highly inappropriate under a picture of your child?
I think so.
Anyway.
After VF¢s initial post, VF was summarily banned shortly thereafter, or “banniation” as they call it, after making only 10 posts.
No less than 2 seconds later, I was banned as well for her trying to stick up for me.
I managed a whole 17 posts. {laughs}
I¢d invite them to try and use their hateful, deplorable tactics here.
For starters, the Mods here ROCK.
And I know it wouldn¢t be long before HC Mods “banniationed” them back to the Stone Age.
Not like their little weenie ninja mod that is going to be VERY busy for long while.
I almost feel bad, but not bad enough.
The unisex ninja yells: "I'm more than willing to ban your entire 'net using family. Bring it."
Okay.
I will exact some sort of satisfaction that while I may not have gotten an apology for their horrible comments about my daughter¢s name, I will get the satisfaction that a LOT of people love VF, my daughter, and I so much that they will pop on and make his/her life on the forum absolutely miserable.
And that alone will keep their mod on his/her toes.
I have a LOT a family and even MORE friends.
Couple that with VF's clan and you have one hell of a party.
Good luck with that ninja dink.
He/she might even say that is crap trying to stop the flood, and hang up the mod hat.
Kind of like trying to put a band-aid over a jugular wound.
Nice try GC. I see you got “banniationed” too.
Hahah they think you¢re a girl.
That¢s okay I have lost count how many people think I am a guy.
Either way.

Despite the fact that i myself and me do not realise the explention of cate pole,me saw the condition she was at the time being,and felt very unfortnete.
Me tried to calm her down,but failed at that point. me thought that the website should be hitmaned.

I found the site myself, to take a look at it before I judged them. And I have to say that it's a pretty much ridiculous forum. I can't even imagine that people make these things. I've seen forums designed for spam with more use. Why do they keep posting there? What I feel about that place is just...undescribable. If it's your name, go ahead and cuurse you parents for it, but why do you have to mock others for it?

Especially with a resource like HC with an army of potential IPs to help your cause

No they didn't understand that concept at all. They aren't any better since they are stalking every scrap they can find about me all over the internet. I should almost thank them for steering me to the places I haven't gone to in years. LOL Thanks to them I was able to fix, modify or delete things I'd been meaning to for a long time.

They continue to twist the words VF, GC and I wrote, to suite their own ways.
I explained to one of their people Tiamat...what HC was, and how it operates as far as the CoC goes.
I don't think I have to tell any of you HOW I talk, people on HC don't have the problems understanding plain english that these girls apparently have, now they think they are going to come here and tell everyone what I said.
Basically in a nutshell, what I said about HC was that it was an internatinal gaming forum.
That you are rigid and restrictive in the way of the CoC...we know this as no personal insults, slams or otherwise badgering people.
I did say that I thought the philosophy of anger was bull, at least for me since that kind of thing has NEVER worked for me. I mean to say what works for one doesn't work for another and was strictly MY opinion of it.
I also related to them that I had had my druthers trying to not get peeved at some people for their my little pony and rose colored glasses mindset. I said that because real life is not all butterflies and things. As much as anyone would like for it to be that way...it just isn't so.
There are people that know real horror in the world and that was all I meant by that.
I also said that I didn't think any of them would make it a day at HC, and I still don't think so.
They can certainly twist my words to sound ugly...but I think people here know me better than that.

Here's another thing. And someone stop me if this little narration isn't a realistic account of what happened.
1. You find out that your name and your little girl's name is being made fun of on a website devoted to making fun of other peoples' names.
2. You actually get offended to the point where you find it necessary to confront them.
3. You confront them, provide intimate personal details of your life and pictures no less of your car accident, get yourself banned, and then find yourself the subject of some um, intense web scrutiny.
4. Scratch 3. Who cares about 3?
5. You crash a website devoted to making fun of other peoples' names and work yourself up into such a frenzy that you want to start a crusade against them. *Laughs*.
6. All you've done is supply them with so much good material that years from now someone's gonna mention the names Setitetart...or Tayandy...or Macayle...or cat pole... and everyone's gonna get it and everyone who's in the know is gonna enjoy a minute or so of gutbusting laughter.
Congratulations on becoming a punchline.

Oh gods I know it. I was on the phone with a friend earlier and the two of us were rolling at some of the comments on their board.
Some hysterical stuff over there for sure.
What they never seemed to grasp was that I understood the premise of their place, and even agreed to them to a degree.
Some of those names ARE truly bad.

3. Fair enough Gootch, that would be a resounding Yep as well. As I explained to Diana the runner of their board when she emailed me directly after I'd been banned, that I was (poorly) trying to let her/them know that I wasn't just someone posing to be me for jollies. I failed miserably and I told Diana as much.
No. VF got me banned that little tart. I had apologized and was actually in the middle of writing a note to a member when the lights went out so to speak. *laughs* Apparently their ninjamod had tired of the family reindeer games and decided to oust us both.
I won't complain about the web scrutiny whatsoever. If not for them I wouldn't have been able to track down and take care of the 40 gazillion sites I no longer go to, and hadn't visited those sites in years, and had frankly forgotten about them.
When you've been online as long as I have you just forget about things sometimes.
So for that, I will THANK them. All of those sites are now gone, and that helped me immensely. THANKS RUYI AND ALYSIA.

Some of the commentary had me in tears as well, especially the fact that there 'oh so educated' posters had no idea what a cat pole was. I thought that I would die when she put it under the picture of her child. *clueless*
Well my little sweet tart it has been fun but they are really starting to bore me. The bored housewife posters have lost their edge and have just become repetitive.
So we will let others (Laughs my *** off) play!!!

She may not be stupid or retarded, but she's sure as hell crazy. Her obsessiveness is giving Dawn(e) a run for her money.

Even on my WORST day I haven't ever done anything close to that.
what I find funny about the whole "cat pole" thing is, she meant it as an insult, when she was a stripper at one time. Telling us to "get off our cat poles" would indicate that we were strippers.
oh, and as a teacher, I guess I should hang my head in shame that I only teach drivel such as math, science, grammar, and history. I guess I am just not worthy, because I have failed to learn and teach the most intelligent of all languages, Obscure Stripper-ese.

That is sick, sad, wrong, and absolutely disgusting among other things.
And believe me I saw more than my fair share of women like that.
It was gross.

I sucked at math & science. Contrary to what you might think, I was awesome in things like spelling and english in school and pulled A's
But since I have long nails now, fingers that get ahead of my thoughts, as well as a bad tendency to not look at my punctuation all the time before I click "submit"...I think that might be why some of the things I say are misconstrued.

I have to agree with The_Gootch that it probably wasn't a very good idea to suply them with personal information about yourself. And you're kinda using this forum to argue with them because you were banned on the other forum...
P.S: Why did you have to show them HC? I'm praying none of them joins here just to continue the discussion...

I have more or less let them be, but some of their threads are freaking hysterical. They got some real crazies, like their AbbeRose "troll", on their site that are worth laughing at. I could always use a good laugh.
Nah I saw the error of my ways there. I think I have most of that mess cleaned up thanks to them.
I would love to talk to them on their own territory but yes, they DID ban me for BS reasons. I don't like loose ends so to speak. If they are going to look, why not put a message to them directly that way?
And even if they DID join, who cares? I doubt that many of them are gamers for starters. And secondly, if they did want to continue the "discussion", they act up too much, and they are gone or can be silenced or whatever else since the Mods here are clearly better than theirs.
The crap that is allowed to fly on their site would never fly here and I am not worried about it.
