Then I really look forward to see it when it's finished I really did not know that The Shadow of Death was before the Restoration of Erathia

It came out afterwards, but the story took place beforehand. I'm encountering some small problems with uploading files to the server I'm using, but when we handle the problem I'll show you all the first complete entry: a character profile on Finneas Vilmar, the Necromancer King of Deyja. And thanks again for the nice complements!
EDIT: With even more gracious help from Gnoll Mage, the first new page, a profile on Finneas Vilmar, is ready. We'll probably tweak it a little later, change the formatting a little, but I think it looks pretty good for now. Enjoy the read, y'all.

Yes, I apologise for the lack of updates... I'm working on mods for the Heroes games so the Hall won't be updated too often in the next while. I am trying to finish some other character profiles right now, so there may be some extra reading material soon... Of course I'm willing and able to answer any questions anyone has about the storyline. Ask away if you like.

This is a tough one to answer. The convergence of Armageddon's Blade and the Sword of Frost caused a huge magical influx which spread throughout the world. As it was not an internal explosion, we can assume that only the surface was affected.
The planet's surface is gone, no doubt about it. But the planet itself is still intact, and it's floating around in space. Before the early events of Heroes IV (as explained in Legends of the Ancients), Malustar (a Kreegan) travels to the destroyed planet and retrieves the broken Armageddon's Blade as his own. So the world isn't destroyed, but the atmosphere and all traces of human life have been burned to a crisp.
In Might and Magic VIII, a Dark Elf explains a legend which says that the world has been destroyed many times, and is always renewed by the Elemental Lords. So the remains of the planet could yet be restored to life, if the Ancients wish it.
Hope that answers your question!
@Guarder: That's quite possible, depending on whether or not Ubival ever decide to link Ashan to the old universe properly. Killing off Sandro and mentioning Solmyr in passing just doesn't cut it for me... If some of the portals did lead to Ashan, it could explain the mysterious disappearence of the Tatalians (Lizardmen, Gnolls) and other things.

Wait, the Tatalians survived? They didn't die in the apocalypse?!?
Joy!
Also, I really hope they bring back Erathia and Enroth. I miss them.

It's possible, though they haven't appeared in Axeoth at all so far and I didn't say that... though I too miss them and hope they did survive in some way.

Aw, thanks, though I don't think I actually can keep it up for now, since I'm working on mods... but for the meantime, we've started a storyline thread here at Celestial Heavens, with many interesting facts. I've put some input there (my name there is Corlagon). Check it out if you like.

It occurs to me that there's already a heroes wikia project that could benefit from this info: Heroespedia
And look, here's a section that could use some info: Heroespedia: AoH

Whoever maintains that wiki can of course use my materials, but I won't be editing it myself since the site seems to run very slowly on my computer.
