high morale is good, but this doesnt stricly mean that 'leadership' is useful, as teh max bonus is +3 of course. Sometimes Ive had expert leadership, but also had other bonuses such as artis / one-army type / angels, and Leadership is a waste then. I think its worth having on most heroes but have one or two heroes who just use other bonsues/artis to get their morale then you can choose a different skill for them.
Luck I never really bother with, although Ive never been sure of exactly how much the damage bonus is, it doesnt feel like quite enough to justify choosing luck as one of the 8 sklls.
