Le parkour
a frindes of mine decided to start doing some parkour sport.its a kind of free running,where you preform wall spins and stuff like that. Im offerd to join there team ,the EX-BJ. I'm unsure. some of the stuff are cool to see,there is desicpline and other techniche. Most of it is training though,as i've wittnessed,its 99% training,1% guts.
what do you think of it? you probbly heard of le parkour.

Lol I've never even climbed a tree  Actually I did once, but got down after the first meter and a half...  So this is kinda extreme for me.
Never heard of it before though. So perhaps I'm not informed enough about it... :/

Parkour looks cool, but seems pretty dangerous. I think a lot of attention came to the sport after Madonna featured Parkour stunts in her videos for Hung Up and Jump from her recent videos. You can see the video for Jump here.

so far i know how to perfom easy stuff like "monkey" and "lazy".
If i work harder i will learn "Koonga" and "wall spin"

I'm still waiting for Madonna to put some of those SSI shredder clips in one of her videos.
She could make a song entitled "You Tear Me Up"
or "Crush"

You also forgot to add Casino Royale to the list of things that made Parkour more mainstream. One of the founders of the Parkour movement in Paris, Sebastien Foucan, played one of the villains in the film.

my friend used to practice it, and all I can say is that it's not an easy sport.. he gave up after two years, since his abilities weren't growing anymore.. seems like you need to be talented to become really good, like everywhere else..
