Walkthrough for Heroes I
Hi people,
first hello all, this is my first and maybe my last post here.
The Heroes Community is the larger and the best domain about Heroes Series I. I did some searchs at Google, Yahoo and Altavista and the best links made my way here.
For almost 1 year I played Heroes 1 and I noticed that not have decent tutorials and walkthroughs about this game to finish the game in campaign mode, step by step.
At Gamefaqs domains have horrible walkthroughs, and the other domains have these same walkthroughs.
Have more 1 or 2 great sites like Heroes Community with their own tips but they arenīt great to help player.
I saw many topics here about Heroes 1 that were inactives and people calling help and nobody helps, only because there no was sufficient people playing too to help then.
The game is hard to defeat, and have no single tip to help the players to win.
Many sites of the past died, what we have are 2 or 3 about Heroes 1, and like here, the main are Heroes 2,3,4,5 not Heroes 1.
I defeated the game with Knight and Barbarian in less 90 weeks, that are the record for default record in the game.
I like to share my skills with some player and make one ultimate faq to help new players when I decide no more play it...and to make my nick and the others that can help me, immortal at gamefaqs as the best faq for this old old game =D
I found great faqs with tips to play it, and what do in campaign mode, but not how do it.
I think how do it is, step by step is the main help.

I will help the players to defeat the game too.
Actually I defeat the Knight and Barbarian campaign at record time and I will start the Sorcerer campaign now.
I accept some help to defeat the Sorcerer campaign too.

Not quite step by step, but there s some useful information on handling each of the maps.

Each campaign in less than 90 weeks? I guess I have to install it again and see how long it takes.......90 weeks....more than 600 days....hmmmm....sounds pretty long, but I really can't remember.

Actually, I can post the best 3 sites and maybe these only ones are what we have today, about heroes I for decent campaign information.

3 Nice sites but what I think is, the game is really hard to defeat, and the information about the campaigns can frustrate some players because if they read the tips, at first look the are nice and cool but they have problems to execute it. I defeat the game 2 times and I have problems to defeat again, with Sorcerer campaign. The main problem at my games is to defeat the last 2 maps. Sure I can win if I play more weeks, but imagine new players that donīt have playerīs support.
I will make the ultimate faq before this great game be forget

I need some tips to make my faq.
I can say that I play very well this game and I can make the best ways to defeat the game shortly like winning the map1 at day 8 and the map3 before the end of 3 month.
But I can say too, I need help the game is hard.
For new player...no comments

For the longest time I had a lot of problems defeating the missions. I almost felt like sending an email to ?Sebastian? requesting any walkthroughs he had done. He had done excellent walkthroughs for 2 and appeared to have some extensive experience with 1.
My only advice was to focus on knocking of heroes. It was less damaging eliminating heroes away from castles than within castles. After the strong heroes were knocked off, then go after the nearby castle, but don't protect it. leave the castle as bait to draw out the strong heroes.
That strategy worked for Knight and Barbarian. As for Sorcerous, I think it was mostly getting Dragons and shuttling Minotours and Griffins over to the island. Keeping one super hero and eliminating all castles and heroes to the left and then building a second hero with Pheonix and eventually passing the Pheonix to the super hero for the final battle/north passage.

Indeed is a good tip
Knight and Barbarian can knockout Wizard army alone but Sorcerer have some troubles since Phoenix arenīt match to Dragons and for melee we have only Unicorns since I prefer Sprites to Dwarfs, only because the speed.
My will is to make a guide to make the players win with their original castles, since I think, taking the Wizard castle in all maps and making dragons is enough to win the game =D
I think I found last week the perfect tactical formation for Sorcerer to enter in the battle to match any battle.
The trouble agains wizards are Dragons and magic like berzerk and I think my formation can deal with this problem.
I will post this in the future here or in my faq.
The game is hard to defeat, since I think the I.A. cheats sometimes =D
