Name: Mindreaver
The Mindreaver developed the gift to affect the world around him and other people's perceptions by willpower alone. He may veil something from others or alter the way it is seen as well as partially bend the natural laws to his will.
Of course there are certain restrictions to that. He may will for something to be heated but not burnt, cool but not freeze on spot, extend shapes and so on. Unfortunately the mental strain requires that he periodically rests if he is to continue.
Naturally with such a power comes arrogance and a will to use it as he sees fit. He is not insensitive and promotes order but prefers to be independent and therefore won't join MEGA although he may periodically assist them.
A few other things:
Mindreaver is considered as a normal human in terms of endurance and strength.
The mind gift requires focus, therefore stress and distractions will weaken its effect.
He does not mind each person believing whatever they want but will let them know if he sees it as pure idiocy.
He is highly suspicious of facts and intentions but will blindly trust people close to him. Yes, he is a bit introverted.
He likes elegant, smart clothing but nothing outrageous. In the end it comes to feeling comfortable while lookin good

Sorry about my last post on the IC, something came up unexpectently and I was unable to finish it. Putting more info now.
Both new additions are fine with me. What? No 'good' guys yet? hehe.
Let me introduce you to some of the NPC's and their personalities.
Name : Ironclad.
Age : Unknown
Sex : Male
Height : 6'4"
Weight : Between 210 to 20000 (see powers)
Powers : Density manipulation and metalic skin. Does not age. Rumors exsist that he has even created doubles of himself should something happen to him.
Weaknesses : Egotistical, Emotionless (except of course his ego), and must have order at all costs.
Advantages : Military Covert Ops training, explosives, runs a really big orginazation, unlimited funds.
Name : Ghost.
Age : 14-16
Sex : Female
Height : 5'5"
Weight : 95 soaking wet.
Powers : Immaterial (can not be affected by or affect anything. Though she can carry envelopes as messages). Does not need to eat, sleep, or rest.
Weaknesses : Her power is also her greatest weakness. She can not control it, she is always in 'ghost' form. Non-combatant, but can distract occasionally.
Name : Gemini 1 (A.k.a Alexis Star)
Age : Rumored over 1000 years old but appears to be 30ish
Sex : Female
Height : 5'9"
Weight : 135
Powers : She's a brick. Despite her size and weight, one of the strongest and toughest of them all. However, she is gentle and hates violence.
Weakness : Over protective of her 'weaker' brother. Mental abilities are very much more effective on her, and currently she is on the injured list.
Name : Gemini 2 (A.K.A Alex Star)
Age : Rumored to be over 1000 years old. Appears to be 30ish
Sex : Male
Height : 5'9"
Weight : 135
Powers : Drainer. He can take somebody's power from over 100 ft away. He can transfer it to himself or somebody else. He can also transfer damage done to him to somebody else. Can 'read' somebody and know their powers. (Comes with being able to drain)
Weakness : Frail and sickly. Physical powers are much more effective on him. Normally very peaceful, but can have a temper sometimes.
Name : Nightshade
Age : 202, but don't tell her that
Sex : Female
Height : 6'1"
Weight : 145 (your funeral if you bring that up)
Powers : Vampire abilities as well as shadow abilities.
Weaknesses : Light powers, concecrated ash stake with silver lining, and fears Gemini 2 (to the point of paranoia). Hates Ironclad and believes him to be a 'wimp'.
Yes, they have a bit more power (well besides ghost) then the starting characters, but they are just there to help (or hinder) the heroes (ie you). Others (not so powerful) will be introduced later..as well as some of the stronger bad guys...

Well of course the main characters are strong. If just anyone could go and kill them where would be the fun in that?
You just gotta make their counterparts atleast as strong.

Well nightshade works for C.O.E.D (Evil guys). Havn't introduced any of the others from that yet..guess you some of you will have to go to the meeting to meet them..*grins*.

The C.O.E.D. is a great name for evil organization but maybe the words it refers to might be changed but as I'm even more worse with names I should just stay quiet.
Oh yeah wolf's name is Lumi(snow).

Hehe it's just me. When I hear CoED I think of when I was in elementary school and Co-Ed gym. Or Co-Ed dorms. Man, you know you are getting old when you start remembering the old days better then the current ones. Anywho, I not only want a different name, I am asking for help. Just can't come up with a better name, or what the letters stand for. Anybody wants to make a suggestion I am all ears.
As for personalities the NPC's have the following. I don't mind you all using NPC's as long as the general personalities are intact.
Nightshade. Seductive, cruel, sadistic, and absolutely no care for who/what gets hurt. Evil to her is like breathing to us, natural.
Ghost : Timid, shy, reclusive. She will flee if scared, and she gets scared easily. Would not harm a fly if she could.
Alexia (Not in costume) - Playful, not serious, jokes a lot. Protective of her brother (in or out of costume), and will get very angry if he, any of the rebels, or innocents get hurt in her line of sight. Things (and people) get broken when she is angry. In costume there is no way to tell either gemini apart. Not personality or anything.
Alex (Not in costume) - People think his sister is gentle, he is downright a pussycat. Wouldn't hurt a flea. Gets less angry about other things then Alexia, but if he sees his sister hurt, makes the old hulk look down right NICE. When with his sister, the two of them are the most powerful mutants, alone he is number 3. (Alexia no. 2, Ironclad believed to be no.1) Yes if they fight ironclad seperately he can defeat them.
Ironclad. Machines have nothing on this guy. No emotions. Is convinced only he can cure the worlds problems. So far his actions have benifited people however.
Well there the ones you have met so far are. Feel free to use them, within reason

Hmm how advanced is the technology? Could I perhaps have a portal in my home that transports people to other locations that have a similar portal?

Yes, teleporters are available. So are flying vehicles, robot assistants, ect. Pretty much the same as in Stargate Atlantis or Star Treck : Voyager. Very advanced technology.
Now as you may have figured out, this style of rpg is a bit new to me, and I am still on a learning curve. Used to the table top d and d style. I will learn, if everybody will be patient with me . Updating as soon as I depart from the ooc thread
The meeting will officially start as soon as I know everybody who is going to attend does so. Things will become a lot more open ended after this meeting. Just setting some atmosphere. Now as for the others in the room, to be honest every power size, shape, ect is represented here. Feel free to use your imagination. These are from all over the globe, and most you will never see again (or rarely). The main people you will need to know will be brought to light as soon as the meeting is officially over.

Now just needing to know if one other person is going to attend or not and I can update (either way).
I will try to introduce more of the NPC's that you might be running around with. There will also be one that I will be using myself, but powerwise she is on the weaker side. Gonna have to introduce more males too, been noticing that a lot of my NPC's are female. I am biased tho  .

Right now I am limited to 20 posts in a 24 hr period. Keep forgetting about that. Ran into my first reminder today. Anyhow, some names you might want to know, these will be the people about your powerlevel and who the work for. Just names powers and who they work for (if anybody) for now...more later.
Revver- Electricity - C.O.E.D. (Male)
Shyft - Time/space manipulation (Male...and female..everytime they use their abilities it switches) Rebels.
Darkblade - Superhuman fighting skills. (Female) MEGA
Purrrfect (yes she actually calls herself that) - Super agility, speed, and poisonous claws. (Female) Rebels.
Brick House (two words and she always sings the song too) - Well she is a brick. Female - freelance.
Stargazer - See into the future. Freelance..Female. <---reserve this one for me .
Bloodmage - He is a mage that uses blood...MEGA
and last but not least... Rose - Earth power. Very shy though. Rebels.
Now on the other hand there is Thorn. The second mutant trapped in Rose's body. Her powerlevel is 5 times higher then Rose, but she can not and does not want to control it. Likes when people hurt. Also earth power, but with a thorny side to it. Think of her like the hulk part of Rose. Only, emotion has nothing to do with her release. If Rose goes unconscious, dies, or her mind shuts down..Thorn takes over.

Wow thanks a lot Mysty! And I don't plan to give up that one on CH, its getting more interesting.
Well, I want to try new things out. Honestly speaking, I don't know anything about the Super Hero thingy. All I know are some X-men stuff that I had watched when I was a kid. So I hope you could help me out and be more understanding if I made mistakes.

Welcome to HC, Ceres.
I don't think that any of us is much of an expert, so don't worry. As for superpowers, the way I see it there are 2 ways to pick your powers:
1. Think of a personality you can easily RP (and would like to RP as well), and then match a power to it either corresponding to the personality (e.g. hot-tempered fire controller) or contradicting it (peace-loving giant).
2.Just think what kind of superpowers you want to have yourself. If you'll make up a character that can do, what you wanna do it'll probably be very fun.
No one knows how the RP will evolve so just make up something and see how it goes.

Well update is up, am not exactly happy with it, but covers the basics. Provides incentives also. Just keep in mind a couple of things. CoED and MEGA will probably try (try being the operative word) to get things from you for their assistance. It's how they do things. They will have much better info and access then the rebels however. Stargazer will be part of the group (and if anybody new comes along, she can help get them involved) but mostly keep in the background. The offer is there if you choose to take it. Yes, the pay will be good.
Oh and Shyft doesn't change personalities or anything. Just physical appearence. Born male Shyft has an unusal relationship with Purrrfect, who avoids him when he is a she. Usually he will just activate his power (going only a couple of feet) to prevent any akwardness.

Dang, modifing to include Problem Childs port to the meeting. Pretty sure the suprise of seeing Shyft change will be something to behold hehe. Anything else I am forgetting?

I don't feel creative enough to post right now, so if I don't post before everyone has gathered, just know that my character is interested and will come as well.
Edit: I just realized something (yes, it took me a while): My character never really received an invitation from Stargazer, so does that mean he's not one of the chosen ones?
P.S. It wouldn't change a thing, even if he isn't, he would still tag along just because he wants to.
