Problem Child, who came to his senses on the way back to Earth, fell on the ground the second they landed and started kissing it. Concrete floor, while by far not as good as a flourishing forest, was still much better than the great emptiness up there above the sky in the eyes of the music master. When he finally stood up and looked around he got the feeling that he got teleported to another world again. There were so many new people he never saw before: a blind lady surrounded by hundreds of unconcious soldiers, four weird talking guys who dissapeared as suddenly as they appeared and above all - a stylish fellow with a cane and an evil aura around him.
Problem Child listened to all the talk that was going on between the newly arrived, Man and Jorn and desperatly tried to understand what they were saying. When he understood that his efforts are pointless, he looked around and remembering the situation they're in addressed his companions:
"I seriously have no idea what's going, but a guy that spends so much money on his clothes and looks can't be good, so maybe Varjo or anyone else should send him on his way, and we could start preparing for the invasion that's giong to destroy Earth!"

"Don't worry. I am leaving, for now. Think on my offer. Yes, I can even bring HER back to you. Think hard. Call and I will send one of my..henchmen to collect the sword. Then I will give you your reward. Oh and Jorn, a word to the wise...things have changed here. You don't have all your .. friends backing you up."
With that he disapears in a foul puff of smoke. It takes a bit for everybody to get back to normal. Kiki turns toward Varjo. "Looks like you have a decision to make. Nobody can take the sword by force or deceit. It would not allow it. What shall it be. Training from me, or his offer? Mind you, he will seek any wrong wording or trick to get what he wants while twisting what you want."

Rose rushes to 'Man's' side seeing if he is ok. "I've got this one Jorn. Think everybody is now fully healed besides him." turning to 'man' she asks "Where does it hurt? Do you know what is wrong?"

Man struggles to compose himself as the woman draws near. "Not... not really..." he gasps violently for air as he takes his cane and stands to his feet. Baskerville quickly comes to his master's aid, lending an empathetic hand. "This body... need to find it... I'm... I'm at my lim-" Baskerville lets out a yelp as Man crashes face first into the ground, unconscious. His victorian garb and youthful looks melt away, leaving the ancient body of Old Man in front of Rose.

Rose leans down and calls on the power of nature. Life giving energy flows into Tempus, infusing him with energy. It is the very essence of life and energy, that can restore any but the dead. He still rests, now just asleep, as his body heals itself.

Mindreaver sighs.
"Excuse my frustration Kiki, would that we welcome you at better times. Does that mean you will be staying with us for a while? Also I'd like to know what is the deal with that sword and how Old Man knows you. I had a feeling he was far more powerful than most people with powers but what Lucifer said leaves no doubt."

Kiki smiles. "Depends on Varjo's answer to my deal. As to Jorn and Lucy, I can answer that. Jorn travelled awhile in Castle Le Femme, which travels in time. A good long while into the future, Jorn will foil ol Lucy many many times. Or I should say one of the possible futures. As for the old man, I would be able to tell you once, but I have lost a lot of what I once knew. As for the sword it is an ancient relic of good, with vast powers in the right hands. Any agent of evil would deffinately fear it."
Rose giggles and Bear chuckles. Rose beams. "Yeah my dad is a regular thorn in that guys side. Course, he had lots and lots of help, but that is not the point."

"Your getting ahead of yourself again Jorn. Your not that old yet, even if you will be. However, we have more pressing concerns currently. Like a certain alien fleet headed this way. Anybody have any idea how we are going to go about fighting them?" asks Kiki.
"Yeah, one problem at a time. Pretty much they can just sit in orbit and bomb us back so far that the stone age would be a fond dream. While Shyft could port us up to take on some ships, by the time we destroyed them all, there wouldn't be anything left to save."

Rev pushes through the crowd. "Where is Brick House? Havn't seen her since the space fight."
Bear puts his hands on Rev's shoulder. "She..didn't make it. She sacrificed herself to buy us more time."
Rev sort of goes white. First he turns to Kiki. "Your supposed to be a goddess...bring her back. NOW!" Kiki just looks to the ground. He turns to the old man. "Your some power according to Lucy, you bring her back." then to Problem Child. "Or you, with your songs. Somebody has got to be able to bring her back!"
He looks to Varjo. "Heck, your great boss ain't going to tell you what you are going to decide. Give him the damn sword and have him bring both Brick and whoever he was talking about."
"Somebody do SOMETHING. She was one of the few who gave a dang about this group. Doesn't seem like anybody else gives two fig leaves."

Old Man is abruptly woken by Rev's anguished ranting.
"Huh?! What?! Ju-Wh-WH-DON'T SNEAK UP ON AN OLD MAN LIKE THAT!!! ARE YOU TRYING TO GIVE ME A HEART ATTACK, YOU YOUNG PUNK!!!" He shuffles to his feet. Baskerville hops up to his master, cane in mouth. Old Man pets the dog on the head as he withdraws the drool-covered cane. He quickly wipes the slobber off and tosses his companion a treat, which it gobbles up quickly.
Old Man allows Rev to calm down a bit before he speaks. "Power? What are you talking about? Last I remember we were in that blasted world full of magic..." the disorientation has finally caught up with him. "How'd we get back here?"

Problem Child looks at Rev with sad eyes for a bit and then turns his glaze to the ground.
"The day of darkness comes to every man. We cannot undo what has happened ... no matter how much we wished for it. All we can do is make sure that the pain and the suffering of the past were not in vain and keep fighting for a better future. And right now that means repelling the parasites who have come to drain the life our beatiful planet. I am no tactician, but I will do whatever is needed to defend this world." He pauses to think for a bit. "When I first arrived to this time Gemini told me that M.E.G.A. controls almost everything in this world in one way or another, maybe if Mindreaver, Wyldecard and the beast commander join their forces we could do something."

Just because you give Lucy what he wants don't mean you get what you want.
Think about it. lucy isn't all powerful.
He's not called the Prince of Lies for nothing.
If i was lucy i would put 2 deamon souls in there bodies.
what do you know?
You wouldn't be none the wiser.
that's just what i would do if i was Lucy.
so don't be a fool.
you can't trust lucy.

Against all the ideas being thrown about the voice is almost missed. It is quiet and low, like normal, for Ghost speaks up. "What...what about the nexus. Can we use it to get allies?"
Everything goes quiet for a minute, as the implications sink in. The nexus connects not only space, but time. Kiki sort of looks at Ghost, and you can see she is impressed. "No, too dangerous. He would have people or things waiting for us. There might be another way, however. It would be risky."
Turning to Mindreaver she asks. "The ones that look like ogres, the only reason they are loosing is because their technology is inferior..correct? What if we could get them ships. Ships as good as the enemy has? Would that turn things to our favor?"
Bear suddenly catches on. "Hey yeah. That might work. It would be hard, and require a lot of work, but it could work!"
Rose joins in. "We don't have that many teleporters, and we'd need to do it as quick as possible. They would be ready if not, and we'd be dead.."
