Earlier that day
A small car arrives. Two people get out of the vehicle. One is dressed in red tinted sunglasses, a three piece suit, and a ponytail. He has the symbol of an atom with a lightning bolt through it on the front of the suit. The other person is dressed like he stepped out of the 60's. Tye dye clothing from neck to feet, he has pink sunglasses and a multicolored headband on. A peace symbol is around his neck.
Mindreaver:
"Looks like we have some company. Let's see what these guys are up to first."
Problem Child looks at the guy with the peace symbol.
"I think I like that guy, he reminds me of my friends in my time... ahh such good memories... which reminds, I haven't smoked in a while now... What? We're just waiting anyway..."
Problem Child took out his replicator and used it to create some weed and paper. He rolled down a few joints.
"So, who's with me? Mindreaver, I saw you eyeing my weed when we were with Brainchild, so I know you want to try it. Great. Varjo, how about you? You really should try it, with your healing powers it won't affect you much, but still. Good, good..."
And so everybody took a joint and enjoyed themselves. Except Gemini, they were too focused and tense to even notice it. Time passed by, rings of smoke flew up to the sky, when suddenly...
The group hears the explosion caused by the granade and then the strange person just seems to turn into a blur. Within a heartbeat the power goes down and they can hear total chaos coming from within. People start just firing blind, at anything that moves, including their own people. Gemini curses and looks at everybody. "Ok plan B."
Both of them start charging into the facility. One is staying behind the other, and things are just bouncing off of the one in front. Guards close in to try to subdue them, but it will take a lot more then that to stop them. The Gemini in front just tosses them around like they were rag dolls.
Rose looks mildly worried:
"Shouldn't we, you know... help them?"
Mindreaver, who was deffinatly not used to the weed:
"Why? I think they're doing fine..."
Varjo, trying to sound like an expert despite the blur in his eye:
"Yeah, we better stay here as a backup group and come when they'll be in real trouble... pass me another joint..."
All over the place weird looking creatures start appearing from nowhere. They are closing in on Gemini, and some are vainly trying to catch Atomic and Wyldecard.
Problem Child, who looks quite surprised:
"Woow, I have smoked a lot of joints, but none of them affected me like that... wait a second... Mindreaver, stop fooling around, you're scaring our friends!"
Mindreaver:
"It's not me!.. I don't think those are illusions at all... could they be real???"
John Saber:
"Real? You're the one who should get real, those things are wrong on so many levels..."
Gemini yells "Mindreaver, can you try to use your illusions on these things! Even I can not handle all of them!"
"Problem Child...got any music to sooth the savage beasts? Would really be nice about now!" yells the other Gemini at the same time.
Everyone:
"YOU MEAN THOSE ARE REAL?!?! "
Mindreaver:
"Told you they were real... "
Problem Child is the first to recover from the shock... and the effect of the weed. He takes out his mic and turns it on.
"OK, first we have to get back into fighting condition...
BE THE HUNTER AND THE HUNTED
KEEP YOUR TARGET IN YOUR SIGHT
DON'T BE SIDE TRACKED OR SHUNTED
LET PRETENDERS FEEL YOUR BITE
AND IF YOU START TO SLIDE

Suddenly everyone around him feel the effects of the weed totally gone and they know exactly what each and every one of them must do.
"Now to take care of the beasties...

Suddenly the beasts slowed down, as if sensing a great power in the mutants, their primal insticts along with their enhanced intelect warned them from engaging in battle with someone who is seemingly stronger then they are. This could be the turnpoint of the fight.

Mindreaver finally feels some semblance of clarity. Good stuff but was probably not the best time for it - Let's see. These abominations seem to act smarter than their simpler counterparts but they still retain their animal instincts.
The illusionist smirks. The world around him begins to slow down the sounds and colours fading as his focus shifts to the nearest creatures. They seem confused at first but then seem unmistakably unnerved and take some steps back from each other. Their eyes show terrifying visions of their allies turning into hideous hostile monsters and growling at them.
That should be interesting.

The effects of the music and the illusions are too much for the cybernetics to compensate for. Animals have two instincts, fight or flight. With the combined effect of the song and the illusion, they choose the best available option. Flight. They take off running in all different directions. That fight is over. Might be a good idea to corral them later, but more pressing issues are at hand. Ironclad will probably be here with mutants and reinforcements soon. Gemini two has reached his draining limit, it would be best not to be here when he shows. At least not for now.

Atomic zips up next to the group, and Wylde pulls over with Shagrath in the vehicle. "Don't know who you all are, but that was one heck of a show. Sorry we couldn't have been more help, but I got sidetracked a bit. Found two captured women, had to get them to safety. One of them doesn't look so good. I've got the neutralizers down, and the power. Personally I think we should just bring the facility down. Explosives will send a good message. MEGA should be about helping people, not whatever is going on here. Something is off, no clue what though. Name is Atomic by the way."

"Nice to meet you, Atomic", Problem Child comes forward as he turns off his mic." And who's your friend in the car?"
"Call me Wylde, dude. Nice threads by the way."
"Thanks! When we get a chance to sit down I'll buy you a beer and a joint and then you'll tell me where you got yours...", Problem Child looks at Mindreaver. "By the way, what about that thingie we brought from Brainchild? Wouldn't things be easier if someone who understands all your futuristic tech use it now?"
Atomic eyes Problem Child as if he were nuts:
"Futuristic? What makes you say that? We've used that technology for quite some time now, I can use it with my eyes closed"
"It's kind of a long story... Hey, if you are so familiar with it and can get to wherever you need so fast, maybe you could help us use it?"

"Malice, you hear that, we-?", Steam spun to his partner but finds her far away and running.
"Hey! Malice, where are you goi-" he shouted over the communicator.
"Going to get my gundam," Malice spat not even letting Steam finish his talk.
Steam sighed at ease, "I thought you are going to leave me here," he whispered to himself.
Malice heard it, she stopped from running and looked back puzzled at Steam who is currently placing the meteorite on a safe spot. "I love, action!", she said over the communicator.

"Well met to the both of you. You are right, things are wrong here and that little thing may help in our predicament." Mindreaver holds up the antivirus.
"In case you saw the news the man discovered in the Gobi desert was the real Ironclad and the one in charge of MEGA is but a decoy. We don't yet know his motives but the antivirus should provide us with some answers and hopefully aid us directly."
"If I may why are you here in the first place? I do not doubt your good will but your arrival was a bit unexpected."

Wow! Haven't had weed this good since the academy. What? Rose? Go there? Nah..
"Yeah, we better stay here as a backup group and come when they'll be in real trouble... pass me another joint..."
"These run out too quickly." I mumbled to myself.
Whoa! What are those? A giant shark on land. I really have to get me one of these and a replicator. Sweet stuff.
What was that? Real. They are even more high than I am.
What's that annoying noise? Problem child? Got his name right alright.
Suddenly everything becomes clear again. The lust. The loss. The pain. The anger. The purpose.
All that had been forgotten comes rushing back. Rage, blood, death.
As I raise my head a fire long gone can be seen in my eyes. I recall my words from so long ago.
"A new man has been born today. With a new purpose in life. Death."
I set out to the base and my knives. It's about time I let it out again. I dive into the battle my hands meeting flesh and bone. I feel my hand thrusting through a giant lynx's neck. A spray of blood covers me fully. I hardly notice that the animals start to hesitate as I spring forward slicing a snake's head off even as it sinks it's tooth in my shoulder. Copperhead judjing by the poison. Nothing new.
The animals start to flee. I'm all set to hunting them down when I hear a faint cry:
"Were here! Anybody?!"
It's coming from a small building other side of the yard. When I get there I notice everyone except Stargazer and Ghost from our group in a cell. The guard is shaking like a leaf in the wind obviously shocked by what he has seen outside. The sight of me surely isn't helping. All covered in blood and a giant tooth sticking out of my left shoulder.
"I surrender. Please don't kill me. I pray for your mercy."
"I accept your pray for mercy." He looks slightly relieved as I slice his throat.
The shock and disgust on my teammates faces is clear.
"How could you? He asked for mercy!" Darkblade asks.
"Those who pray for mercy deserve none. Were leaving. You coming?" I take the tooth off my shoulder and throw it through the dead guards chest as I walk away.

Several choppers land, and Ironclad and several people get out of them. It is obvious that every one of them are Mutants. There are at least a dozen. Almost at the same time, Ceres and Steam arrive (Ceres in her Gundam).
Wylde answers for himself and Atomic. "A very reliable source told us this place had sunk to kidnapping. From what I understand torture and rape as well.." he looks back over where Stargazer is. She is conscious now, but just looks away saying nothing. "That isn't what Mega should be about. We should be helping people man, not hurting them." He looks at Ironclad and you can tell he is not feeling very peaceful right now.
Varjo appears with the rest of the former captors. Darkblade whispers in his ear. "Hey I'm with you, you get what you deserve. I may be a rebel, but I am not a good girl. Maybe you will find that out someday." she winks and draws her sword, looking right at Ironclad. "So your the big ol bad Ironclad, and these are your flunkies. I owe you something. Why don't you come over here, leave them there, and collect?"

Mindweaver calmly observes the battlefield for potential threats and turns to Gemini. "Think we can take them?" Then he catches Atomic's attention and whispers. "If you are as fast and good with technology as I think I have something for you. Take the antivirus and stick it to Ironclad, if I'm right this is gonna turn the tables. Should he get a clear hit at you I'll decrease it's momentum, now stay sharp."

"Sounds like a plan. Though I doubt I can hurt him, from what I've heard anyhow, I don't think he can lay a hand on me. Worth a shot at any rate." He takes the chip and zips toward Ironclad. It takes a bit for him to figure out where to place the chip (well awhile for somebody who can move as fast as he), and just as he does insert it something hits into him hard. He bounces back, seeing stars. Just before things go black, he notices somebody with a black lightning bolt snearing as they stand over him.

Shagrath stumble out of the car, and looks at his 'friends' facing Ironclad and the men. He had to help then, or at least help them. They didn't know what had happened while he had been gone, they didn't know what Ironclad planned for them.
"Hey, you stay in the car!" one of the Geminis said, he didn't know since his sight and hearing were bad after he had exploded.
"No." Shagrath hissed, "The mutants ... they are like me."
The Gemini looked at him, waiting for him to say more.
"They extracted my powers and put them into normal humans, they can also create and control fire. They intended to make me theirs too, they did ... things ... to me." he took a deep breath. "I am more powerful than ever, but I cannot control it properly. I also suppose that some of the people over there have the same power that I have. You must let me use my powers and try to control the fire they will make to turn it against themself."
His sight started to focus, and he looked over at the people by the choppers.
"I recognize some of them." he said, "There are at least ten of them with my power, weaker, but still powerful. You must let me help!"

Both Gemini's look at each other then at the group. One of them growls a reply to the answer. "Better question would be if we're going to leave any of them alive."
"Alexia..." starts the other Gemini, but it is too late. The first Gemini has closed in with one of the Mega crew and unlike most times before seems to be holding nothing back. The poor person that is between her and Ironclad seems to be some sort of fire manipultor. They are hitting her with everything they have, but they might as well be throwing pebbles against a mountain. She grabs hold of them and starts squeezing his head. From the other Gemini. "Damn, this could be bad."
The other Mega members start closing in on her, and the other Gemini is trying to convince her not to kill the guy she has in her hands. It is doubtful that he will succeed. Ironclad heads for Darkblade. Apparently he is accepting her challenge. The guy with the black lightning bolt remains standing over Atomic, and dark energy forms in his hand. It seems as if he is going to finish the job.
You hear Jorn start saying that little ditty of his, to become Electra Soul, but that takes a bit. Somebody might have to cover him while he does that.

"Didn't expect that one to act as fast." Mindweaver grits his teeth and unleashes a psy-shock at the guy before he finishes whatever he is doing. Since it was his idea it's his responsibility that Atomic remains unharmed.

Shagrath straightened and focused the men who now moved forward. As their hands raised and fire erupted Shagrath's hands also raised. The fire that sweeped against Shagrath and one of the Geminis (he hadn't cared to look who it was yet) seemed to hit an invisible shield, and shot in every direction. None were hit. Shagrath closed his eyes, and the fire shot against those who had unleashed it. The fire seemed to darken, and it consumed the men entirely. After a few seconds Shagrath fell to his knees and the fire disaapaired; the men were burned to ashes.
Then he turned his face against the man with the lightning bolt, and he startled. Their eyes met, and both of them seemed to be fighting some extreme psychical fight. Then Shagrath let out the fire again, not wild, but controlled and he targeted the man.

Varjo had yet again vanished but as everyone's attention was on M.E.G.A. no one really cared. Only Darkblade seemed to give it a slight thought which was soon replaced by the blissfull state of mind that the oncoming battle always conjured up in her.
Varjo was already far behind the rest of the force on a fireladder flat. He had removed his coat and folded it like pillow. There was a open case beside the man whose black combat gear shiftet with the shadows rendering him almost invisible to the naked eye.
He had assembled his trusty sub-sonic rifle which he carried on his back with routine that was deep-routed in the back of his head in a matter of seconds.
He put a bullet in, released the safety and took aim.
A man was standing in the middle of the M.E.G.A. group. He was trying to encourage his comrades.
No one would hear him from this distance. He became one with his goal. A small smile covered his face as he pulled the trigger.
"The Rebels are scum. Militia gathered together with no training. We have been training for this for years. We are the lions. They are mere rabbits. When the time comes they will scatter in the wind like the cowards they are!"
He felt the joy when he got a huge push and he felt the sing as he flew through the air to his target. He felt the impact and satisfaction when he breached the man's skull.
On the battlefield a silent thud is heard and the M.E.G.A. member encouraging his comrades falls down with a hole in his head.
In the shadows Varjo smiles slightly, puts another bullet in and picks another target.

Yet another battle... Problem Child grows really tired of this, why do people always have to fight? Atomic lies there, his life in grave danger, Shagrath burning people to the right and to the left, even Alexia seems homocidal for some reason...
Suddenly, his thoughts are interrupted by a small localized earthquake and he falls to the ground. A big brick-like fellow is standing in front of him, raising his hands to crush the confused time traveller. A blast of pure lightning strikes him down before he lowers his hands as Electra Soul runs into the enemy group. Problem Child stands up and turns on his mic once again, it looks like he can't escape this. As he surveys the scene trying to decide what to do, Electra Soul falls beside him, writhing in pain. A guy in MEGA uniform comes forward and switches his attention from the now helpless Electra Soul to Problem Child.
"You're next, feel the power of my sonic waves!"
A powerful sonic wave is sent towards Problem Child, but thanks to his powers the only effect of that is high-pitched ringing in his ears.
"I'm sorry, was that supposed to hurt me? Don't make me laugh. I've survived an Iron Maiden concert, and I was in the first rows. Now let me show you the real power of sound...
HERE IT COMES, YOU'RE NEVER GONNA TOP IT
ON A RUN, NO WAY YOU CAN STOP IT
TOTAL STYLE, PERFECTION IN DECAY
RUNNING WILD, FLAT OUT ALL THE WAY

At first the guy from MEGA was looking at Problem Child as he were mad, but then he starting feeling a bit weird as if something strange was about to happen...
"LIKE A CHARGING BULL, IT'S A JUGGERNAUT
WITH STEAM AT FULL, NEVER TO BE CAUGHT
INCARNATE POWER, ROARING FROM THE SKY
WHILE OTHERS COWER, ROCK AIN'T GONNA DIE..."
Suddenly the guy was thrown back in the air as if he was hit either by a huge bull or by a small steam tank, he tried to stand up, but...
"IT'S AN ANGRY STEED,
ON A NEVER ENDING COURSE
WITH GRACE AND SPEED
IT'S AN UNRELENTING FORCE
HIS HEAD THROWN BACK, DEFIANTLY PROUD
UNDER CONSTANT ATTACK,
IT'S BLASTING, FAST AND LOUD..."
He felt as if a group of mighty steeds galloped over him. He dropped back to the ground unconcious, barely alive, with broken bones all over his body.
Problem Child lowered his mic and looked down at the guy.
"I think I overdid it this time. I should be more careful with the songs I choose."

Mindreaver's psywave hit the man standing over Atomic not too far in advance of the flame. Normally, the man would have just moved out of the way with blinding speed, but the shock of the mental assult distracted him just long enough. In mere moments ashes remained where he once stood. Seeing their comrade fall, a couple start looking around, and one of them just vanishes from sight. Electra is not getting up, and neither is the sound manipulator. The big guy is recovering, however, as electricity does not do much to earth. He does look stunned still however. Alexia finishes crushing the first person's skull, and then others jump on her. They are trying to bring her down, but she is holding her own for now.
Darkblade closes with Ironclad, and at first the fight is going bad for her. Her blades connect, time and again, but they are doing nothing. You can hear the sound of metal bouncing off of metal. Her blades normally can cut through anything, but apparently not whatever this robot is made of. As the virus spreads through the AI, however, the battle turns. Though she still can not seem to penetrate it's hide, it is retreating. It starts randomly attacking anybody and everybody, friend or foe, around it. Until it backs into Alexia.
Shrugging off the ones trying to hold her down, pure hate can be heard in her voice. "YOU!! You had my people kidnapped. You allowed these monsters to get ahold of them. It's because of YOU they will have the same nightmares I have. THIS ENDS NOW!" Alexia grabs the robot and tears it down the middle as if it is tinfoil. Sparks and wires go flying everywhere. Some of the rebels stop, expecting the sight of their leader being destroyed and exposed as a robot to knock some sense into these MEGA members. Instead, they start fighting as if possessed.
"Damn, their on to us! We have to destroy them, they can't get word back to MEGA headquarters. Take out the two girls, and aim for the OTHER Gemini. Concentrate on taking the others down. Avoid confrontation with THAT one," pointing at the Gemini holding two destroyed halfs of a robot, "at all costs."

Shagrath rose shaky to his feet again, even a small attack like the one he had mounted now was enough to draw him of his powers. He closed his eyes. The power flowed through him once more,t he excitement of using the new powers filled him with force. He opened his eyes again, and they burned through several of the men that headed for him. He looked at the chopper and it exploded, everything he targeted ended in chaos. Men shot at him, but the bullets seemed to hit some barrier, and melted before they could reach him. His hand shot out, and a man were cut in two, although he was several yards away.
"Fear me!" Samael hissed, and looked at another mutant attacking him.
The mutant tried to take him down, using some kind of frost-beam. But the ice dissapaired and the man were set on fire and burned alive within seconds.
"You cannot hurt me, fools!" he hissed again, and another chopper exploded.
Then he looked at Mindreaver, and as if the mutant read Shagraths mind it let out a psywave to block his chaos-like powers. It helps in slowing them, but Mindreaver is still knocked from sight. Shagrath spread his wings and hissed once more. He had lost control completely, and he had achieved a doom personality too. Now he would attack and destroy anything he got his hands on, whatever it or they were, friends or foe.

"ENOUGH!" Roars a voice as an invisible force grabs ahold of all the mutants that have gotten out of control, Alexia included. "WE ARE NOT COED OR MEGA!" The voice is not at first recognized, for it is full of power and command. "CONTROL YOURSELVES OR I WILL!" everybody feels their powers start fading. A bright glow emits from one of the Gemini's. Alexia and Shagrath pass out, Shagrath falling to the ground. Then Alex hits his limit for draining, and he too collapses. Everybody feels weaker, but it is obvious his focus was on the ones that had lost control.
