Are you left or right brained?
This tells you which of your brains sides is dominant.
Look at this picture here:
Side test
Now. Was it turning clockwise or counter-clockwise?
If it was turning counter-clockwise you use more of your left brain-half and if clockwise then right.
LEFT BRAIN FUNCTIONS
uses logic
detail oriented
facts rule
words and language
present and past
math and science
can comprehend
knowing
acknowledges
order/pattern perception
knows object name
reality based
forms strategies
practical
safe
RIGHT BRAIN FUNCTIONS
uses feeling
"big picture" oriented
imagination rules
symbols and images
present and future
philosophy & religion
can "get it" (i.e. meaning)
believes
appreciates
spatial perception
knows object function
fantasy based
presents possibilities
impetuous
risk taking
Most people should see it turning counter-clockwise.
And yes. You can influence the turning direction. I can make it spin which way I want but just take the direction it naturally spins.
I got clockwise which was quite surprising actually. I've always thought myself just the opposite. I do daydream a lot though.

That makes sense because all people use both halves and switch back and forth between the two. So it probably depends on which mode you are in just before looking at it.
The switching back and forth can occur very rapidly. Any type of creative writing is a very good example. The creative part is right brain, and the language part is left brain.

I am not convinced this is not a fraud. First time I did it was clock-wise, and it was hard to make it turn the other way around.
And it is still hard to change the way it rotates, once I "fix" something in my head ...
However, I strongly agree to one of the things that are written:
"words and language" vs "symbols and images". Sometimes, when I talk to somebody, I even forget very common words, e.g. fridge, lamp, etc; so, when I am talking to somebody else, I tend to either describe the "thing" or point to that because I can not remember at that particular moment the thing. I am very funny: e.g. "What happened to last night's food?"
me:"Oh, I put it in the ... ermmm ... that white thing in the kitchen where you put food, vegetables, drinks ... it keeps them cold!! ... come on, did you get it? NO? Ok, as you enter the kitchen, what's the first furniture on your right?"
"You mean the fridge?  "
me:"Yes!  "

Edit: Stared at it for longer time and succeed to make it turn to the opposite direction.

Weird...At first I saw it move definitely clockwise and after I read the the categories and took a peek it was moving on the opposite direction. And I could not make it turn clockwise for a while.

No way to prove it fraud I quess but it is an optical illusion and not a scripted turn alright.
One of the "turnpoints" is the point where the leg crosses the other leg. The shadow leg also works as one. Using these two points you can turn the direction whenever you want. The thin white lines beside the leg make the turn easy.

Strange indeed - when I opened the page now, there was NO doubt it was returning clock-wise from my first impression - obviously, focusing on it made it change direction, so to speak. Last time, it was very much counter-clockwise on first look.

It turned clockwise for me. Strangely only very few of the attributes there fit me, but they seem like the most defining ones too

No matter how much I look or look away and return to it the image always rotates clockwise. Am I broken?
The terms are too general to really mean anything. Every person is going to pick from both lists if asked to describe themselves.
