Going through the portals/monoliths
Is it possible to go through monoliths without stepping off of it? It looks to me like AI does it that way, so, if I can do it, how?

Pressing space will make you jump through teleports and underground passages. I played for a while without knowing that also...

Teleporters
You may already know this, but where you end up after entering/exiting a subterranean gate is fixed (ie- gate 1 <---> gate 2, if that makes sense).
However, pressing the space bar when you go through a teleporter can actually enable you to jump to different teleporters. I'm not exactly sure, but I think it's random. For example, if you go through one teleporter, end up at another, and press space again, you may just end up at the first teleporter or you may end up at a completely different one.

It Depends on how the teleporters are set up, some go to several locations.....
