Quote: Btw, I don't recall Heroes II having 2 expansions. Isn't 'The Succession Wars' the main game?
Heroes 2 had one expansion, The Price of Loyalty.
I own Heroes 4, but none of the expansions, but the game really wasn't to great, and the first one covered all the stuff I really care about, so I don't want the other two.
I own Heroes 5, but my computer can't play it, so no use getting the expansions ATM.
I own Heroes Platinum Edition, which contains the original Heroes, Heroes 2 Gold (Succession Wars and The Price of Loyalty), and Heroes 3 Complete (All 3 expansions + the AB campaign videos which I hear were missing in the original Heroes 3 complete discs)
Unfortunately, this means the only reason I would get this game would be for Heroes Chronicles, but since it lacks them, there is no real point in me getting it. If only I had a faster internet connection, I would download them online. *sighs* Must be nice having high speed, or even DSL.

Hmm I just checked my Play.com pre-order. It shows a short list of possible order status descriptions:
"In Stock"
"Awaiting Stock"
"Coming Soon".
The actual status of my pre-order however reads "Order Taken". What does that mean? It changed from "Awaiting Stock" recently though, because that was its status when I checked a few days ago.

Id assume awaiting stock means that they didnt have enough and now order taken means they have it and havent shipped yet but will soon

Order taken means that they are currently processing your order - thus, the item is released (hence, no longer "Coming Soon") and they have received it (hence, no longer "Awaiting Stock"), but they haven't send it to you (hence, item is not dispatched). If you visit the item description page it ought to say "In Stock".

Thanks for the explanation. Just a bit more itchy about this because it's a limited edition . Since I read somewhere that all copies had been sold, I was just curious if they actually were able to fill out my pre-order. I'll keep an eye on it.

Original idea was to sell this game in uk only, i think, but maybe it wasnt famous enough out there so they decide to spread homm complete all over the europe. Sorry if my engilsh sucks.

I would love that. Not sure if anyone still has ownership over the software, seeing as NWC went bankrupt. Isn't it abandonware by now?

Nope. Now Ubisoft has all the rights to all the Heroes of Might and Magic games. That's why they distribute them.

I don't think we can allow that - at least, I will not permit anything until I see someone proove to me beyond doubt that it's legal.

The most sure-fire way to get that clear is to ask Ubisoft.
Personally, I would find it strange if they would prohibit it, because they are not distributing it anymore - and as such, there is no legal way to acquire the product anymore.
