Salamandre said: From what I see, arent there data missing? You set:
<Texture /> then you close the tag without specifying value.
Usually there should be something like:
<Texture="25" />
or
<Texture="TEXTURE_NAME" />
or
<Texture="false" />
In heroes 5 you leave like this "<Texture />" if there's no need for it.
Earlier you were kind of right. I datamined I found CombatAbilities.xdb in "GameMechanicsRefTables" directory. Where where all abilities with links to txt files. I changed the links to good ones, but now it show's nothing at all. You cna see in the screenshot that there is empty space between dots (same is in description of creature - there's empty space)
@Magnomagus:
As you can see mod is packed correctly - you can see modded stats.

Heh, good luck. I hate the xml code because it discards all the script if a single typo or error. But in civ5 at least there is a database.log file where eventually it displays the error location. Maybe there is such file in H5 too.

There's no such file in H5 as much as I know.

Will have to use original files , but it's such a mess....

Seems you where right.
I took original files, renamed them, put in the same folder and now it works good.
BUT the effect doesn't seem to work.
I want lightning effect and sound when creature hits with "Assault", but there's no effect at all.
Here's how my effect file looks like inside:
Where's something wrong or it's just impossible to give Assault an effect?
