help me =)
hello emm, i have a problem, itīs very simple to solve, but i donīt know the reason, i finished my new creature in simple paint in "bmp 24 bits".
is homm2 paladin, but when i try to use the def maker, the program makes very bad my paladin, the images made by def maker are totally useless, i think that 24 bits paint format is wrong, and so i was extracted a random picture of a random creature def, and i saw it, the format of the homm3 creatures is "bmp 256 colours" in simple paint , but when i exchange the original picture for mi picture in 256 colours, the paladin is transformed in this..
i donīt like , the colours are very different of the original, how i make my new paladin, with its original colors? i saw the tutorial of the def maker program, but nobody indicates to something of the format bmp, 256 colors, monochrome, 24 bits etc. thanks =)

Well I messed around with it for a while and seem to have discovered the cause for the mess up. I really don't know how to explain it, but the way to fix it is to open up a new Paintshop file and the Paladin file. Select the Paladin and copy and paste him into the new file, then save it as a 256 color BMP.
I know it takes a lot of work for each frame, but it is the only fix that I could find.
