Free Rice
Free rice is a game, where everytime you get an answer right, 20 grains of rice are donated to people in poverty. It's easy, fun, and you can save lives. Today I raised 10,020 grains of rice in barely an hour. That's about 22 days worth of meals for one person.
Free Rice
Please put in a few minutes of the day. It doesn't have to be long, just 5 minutes while you wait for that download to finish, or during a commercial break on TV. If you have it up and running you can keep playing.

I just did 2500 now,
Just wondering but how do we know they really do this?
Edit: Looks credible i think. Anyway lets each do a 1000 when we can or so.

It does seem a bit suspicious (how do we know they send rice?) but I think it's real, as it makes sense (advertising funds the rice)

Got tired of it at 2400. Besides, all that game does is make me feel stupid. I was guessing at half of them.
I checked a few sources about this site and it seems to be legitimate.
This is from the UN website.

I've raised a few thousand.. it's not that hard actually they have to put some easier ones in otherwise people will just crack it and stop playing  Often you can guess them from the roots of the word matching with one of the choices, even if you didn't know the actual definition.
10,020 is huge though.

Why don't they just send all the rice they've got in stock to poor people right away? Why delaying it by making people play a game in order to send it?

The questions are quite easy. I raised 500 in about 90 seconds. at this rate 9 min would = 5000

90 sec = 1.5 mins
9 : 1.5 = 6
6 x 500 = 3000
