Are you sure? I had used it on occasion from the special ability button and there was no retaliation.

as much as i would like to see a heroes 6, i doubt that nival would create one so quickly after finishing TOTE...
knowing game developers, its going to be around another year before they even start thinking about it.

they only made one heroes game yet. I took some time from heroes 4 to heroes 5, but they may have changed

that is not my point,my point is,that is totally worthless works only near by enemy,no use for it,every else new ability is somehow more useful than incinerate

Zombies rot aura only works next to the enemy. But most people hail it as the most useful zombie ever. Same thing goes for the nightmares aura.Or the hellmares aura. Really. Plenty of these things in the game only work once your near your enemy only

Well, Free cities I guess, let me consult my charts...
There seems (on the official map) to be a lot of uncharted area on the rest of the map. The ancient temple (with a Naga in it?) is visible. That was where the Naga Silk Sword was found in DM, was it not? Also, the area has a Druidic-esque standing stones object on it, and another stone based thing at the head of a river, which tallies with Magic, Nagas, and is at the head of a river. Nagas = Water people...
Alternatively it could indicate other Elves. The question is, why are they there, and why are they not in Irollan? Another thought (yay) is that they were elves who were cursed into Lycanthropism (werewolves) and split for the East, either by choice or by being forced out. There are probobally other options out there, and I would not be suprised if the Orcs knew more than they were telling. Why were they so long not fighting the humans? Because they were dealing with whatever is out there. (Much like the Asgard and the Replicators in Stargate) They won, with the ????? retreating to the forests in the north. This ties in with a comment in some interview: "No. In Heroes V the Nagas lost the fight for survival." In Heroes VI they might make a comeback, taking revenge on the Orcs.
Now, what else is there? Well, the Faceless. What happened to them? The Dark Elves Allied with them as recently as 548 ysd, and I doubt that an entire race could die off in less than 500 years without some sortof mention in history. My guess is that they, like the new Mother of Trees, is a trump card the Elves will play when least expected.
I'm done, Dexter, I know you can't actually tell us what is going on, but can you at least point in the general direction of the hinty information?

Well your ideas aren't bad. The Faceless? Hmmm... Are they they only beings that got forgotten? And what about the Water Elves which are supposed to be crushed by the Demon Lord? I doubt they would like that... If you check the game, ook through all the scenarios, campaigns, items even than you might get on the right track.

I pre-ordered Heroes V months before the release, but I was never able to play it because my computer sucks. ;_; I can't afford to upgrade it, I spent $100 to upgrade the ram or whatever to adequate levels, only to realize I don't have a proper video card either.
Is Dexter an insider within Nival or Ubisoft or whatever? If not, is there any insiders on this site, and if so, who?

We don't know.
I forgot about the Water Elves, but didn't they get pwned by Tieru in his mission? If not perhaps they will come sailing back. Oh, and the Dragon Knights, I forgot about them as well...except Tieru was a Dragon Knight, or so said Biara. I guess that means they survived, but if that is the case, why did they not make a more major apearance in Heroes V? Who else could have been a Dragon Knight...
Godric, I suppose, and Arantir fits the bill, kindof. Perhaps Freyda too, since she's all blessed.

Their order became secret so what they may have done during the H5 storyline is unknown. Raelag cannot have been one, serving the sovereign all this time and I doubt Freyda. Sure she got the support of one of the dragon Gods but a dragon knight is not a perk or a prestige class, it's a brotherhood.

You are probably asking too much, they may still be in the concept period for all we know  H5 info were very scarce even during the last year before release so I highly doubt things will be different now.

I doubt theyre far past the concept phase.
Tote wasnt an expansion lazily done, They probably put a lot of work into it and are only starting heroes 6 now
