Inteligence of factions?
Anyone got any idea how intelligent is each race or which is the most intelligent faction?
Or at least also the dumbest faction?

hmm...
intelligence is a hard thing to measure.
Academy have the most scientific genius. (creating golems, surely)
sylvan have the most creative genius. (bards, around in the trees)
Fortress have the most historical genius. (dwarves hold grudges for all history.)
Dungeon have the most marketing genius. (large scale slave markets, its hard not to)
...

no they have slavery genius (they been slaves they have slave market)
also demons are the dumbest. as raelag said: I will keep their brains as a memento if i can find a thimble small enough.

Why orcs least? Gotai is not that stupid and Kujin either.
Hey where are the demons,necros and other factions?
Necros are not that good too if you think about mindless undead.
Academy is not that good too.Think when cyrus did not help the griffin empire and than for that he got killed.

after all, they are wizards...
and of course that i am talking about the liches and the heroes not the other monsters ^^

Here here to the brainless undead.
What I think is that their is a fine difference between knowledge and enlightenment. So, by saying knowledge, I'd say that the prize would go to either the Sylvan or Academy; Sylvan for their righteous ideals and Academy for their hardfool inquisition. Now, for the most enlightened, I'd say that would go to either the Haven or the Dark Elves; the Loyalist's for Haven, and the mystics for Dungeon.

Sovereign and Biara are exceptions. Both necro troops and most demons are mindless beasts, only the ones that lead them possess intelligence. Necromancers are the same as Wizards, except they study dark arts and necromancy. So in that line, Necromancers are second to, if not on par with or even better than, wizards.
I'd call Haven fairly stupid too - religious fanatics. Sylvan is in my opinion a situation that would be the evolved human world, so I would call them more intelligent simply due to the fact they are at peace in mind, mostly. Except for Findan.

I shall post how i beleive they are in "smartness"
haven= smart but not smart enough
sylvan=smart they have much knowledge of the forest
acadamy=smart they gave up reliqion and started extensive magical studies
dungeon=smart meh same as sylvan except a little smarter due to enpowered spell experimentation
inferno=Unsmart basiclly pawns for the greater evil(urgash)
necropolis=smart enough to raise the dead. vampires live forever and are obviously... wise in a sense
fortress=smart but more they know is about rock tunnels and runes.
they don't forget past offenses because thay are as rigid and unchanging as stone.
stronghold=they have several that make adept leaders but they are nomadic tribes unefficient enough to even build cities.
in general acadamy is the smartest
necro=2nd
dungeon=3rd

Necropolis troops are not all mindless. Skeletons and Zombies maybe but Vampires and Liches are probably a lot smarter than most people due to their centuries of experience.

Well, Giovanni certainly isn't a tribute to undead genius. I mean, How stupid do you have to be to even think about attempting to jump Arantir, the very embodiment of Asha on earth, the sole pure priest of her teachings. Anyway, I think Liches are the smartest creatures in the entire heroes universe.
Side Note- Holding out for a Lich hero HINT HINT!

Liches are dead necromancers.
If theyre intellegent then the necromancers in general are intellegent. The liches simply have more experience.(That lich in dark messiah is a lot more scary then the necromancers anyway)

I think we're mixing up races with particular heroes of that race  And it's undoubtedly such a difficult question to judge. There will be a counter argument for every statement.

Yes, instead of the faction overall, might be better to go by specific units.
For instance. Necropolipse.
Heroes - intelligent, crafty. (Varies)
Skeletons - No intelligence
Zombies - No Intelligence
Ghosts - depends on individual that became the spirit.
Vampire - Intelligent
Lich - Intelligent
Wraith - Intelligent
Undead Dragon - Well, they WERE dragons so very intelligent.
Inferno
Imp - Crafty, but maybe not intelligent per se
Horned Demon - Dumber then mud.
Cerebus - Animal intelligence
Nightmare - Animal Intelligence
Succubi - Cruel, crafty, and very intelligent
Pit creature - As above.
Devil - Extreamly intelligent
Hero - Varies but Intelligent and Crafty
Haven
Hero - Varies from Brilliant to dumber then Horned Demons
Peasant - Average Archer - Above Average
Griffin - Animal Intelligence
Priest - Bit higher then archer average
Squire - As Peasant
Champion - Way above average
Arch Angel - Very Intelligent possibly above super genious
(Disclaimer - with all creatures there are variations and exceptions)

Good question. I always see intelligence as ability for logic and reason while Wisdom is about knowledge. However, people do see things differently.

Average Dark Elf - Cruel, crafty and intelligent but not too much
Minotaur - Half Human and half bull, i dont think Minotaur are very intelligent but still the are brave and they are good slaves (Treachery 0%)
Hydra - not so intelligent
Shadow Witch - very intelligent
Shadow Dragon - Dragon Intelligence (dragons are much more smarter then any other animels)
Academy
Hero - crafty, and very intelligent
Gremlins - crafty
Gargoyle - intelligent?
Mage - crafty and intelligent
Djinn - super intelligent
Rakshasa - not so intelligent
Colossus - golems
