Quote: PS: Don't screw up Necropolis.
How do you define "screw up" ?
Quote: Replace the gremlins with gnomes? o.O Are you out of your mind?
Gremlins are THE primary acadeny unit. You cant teake them away.
Actually Gremlins have only been in Academy in H3 and H5 In H2 and H4 it were lousy halflings (I'll never use those). Academy's primary units are golems, mages, and titans. But I just pondered and thought Gremlins are perhaps quite fit as the mage's clumsy sidekicks yeah.
By the way, don't get all your hopes up too much I'm VERY conservative when it comes to the creature types - Haven and Sylvan bring nothing new, other than more unique abilities.
Quote: Well thats where it gets tricky. You could argue the pit lord doesnt deserve a super-upgrade. I mean what can it do ? get an extra spell? Bigger sword?
But you could argue the cyclops could get a goblin throwing skill and then the laser and then a attack alternating between the laser and stomping the ground..
Which is why its so hard to decide i guess.
Hmm yes you can argue about that. But, how many people actually think the eye-laser is plausible? Yeah it's cool and innovative, but personally I don't think it's anything special Archangel's Resurrection or Woodelf's double shot, those are solid things you can't change. The cyclop's laser isn't in that same catagory, at least not for me
You'll also find I'm completely retarded when it comes to inovative names.

Probobally a good thing, there's a group of people who are really mad about the Inquisitor (you know, with the whole history thing)
The proposals look good and iteresting.

Speaking of burning, I aint too sure wether to name the Pit Lord's upgrade "Balor" or "Hellraiser". Any votes?
Additionally, I'd like more opinions on the following matter. I'm tied up with the Dungeon's tier 1 - 3 units and Academy's tier 2 unit.
Basicly, I love the idea of highly tanky but fast gargoyles (H3 looking ones) being at Dungeon's tier 2. Fulfulling the same role they did in Heroes 1 and 2.
Alci pointed out though Wizards are more along the specialization in animating inanimate things (Gargoyles, golems). Additionally, throwing Gargoyles in Dungeon rules out the option of harpies.
On the other hand, one could wonder how desperate or silly a wizard would have to be to animate gargoyles.
So, I'd like opinions. As well any crazy suggestions to Dungeon's tier 1 - 3 is good
