Can someone help out?
There is one mod I would love to see. The return of Crystal Dragons as neutral creatures (which would mean that the current Crystal Dragons become Rainbow Dragons again). I was thinking of using the Magma Dragon model and recoloring it mostly bright red and adding some other shiny stuff to it. However, I know almost nothing of modding sooooo...
A) I will need to know how to add new creatures. I'll be honest, Modding Wiki is written by someone who understands it and is a little too complicated for beginners. However, I don't think adding just one creature should be too much of a problem.
B) How to edit. If anyone can give a quick guide on how to change colors that would be great!
If this is successful, I will probably end up making a large mod that incroporates plenty of new neutrals based on previous games (so lots more Dragons, Enchanters, and...thats it). I was also thinking of editing the appearance of Necro faction to look more...dead. Bright colors aren't a good way to make your undead look scary. But for now, the above two are all I would like to learn how to do. Hope someone helps.

I know about the rainbow dragon mod, but what I'm trying to do is bring back the old neutral powerful creatures.

Also, if anyone is interseted in helping, please do post here. I am new to modding but with some help, I can learn quickly. I have two weeks off from school now and if all goes well, plan to have my "Neutral Creatures" mod ready by New Years.
