Waspwort discrimination

I've noticed that nobody likes the coolest creatures ever to be featured in the M&M universe.
The waspworts.

And the only argument is - "OMG they're walking plants!"

Funny how no one noticed the same about treants. Which are trees.

That reminds me of my late grand-grandmother who once stated, dead serious, that "chestnut isn't a plant, but a tree."

Just take a look at them.

AWESOMENESS INCARNATE.
Besides, waspworts can talk and have slight British accents and a lovely sense of humor.
They just refused to talk in Heroes 4 since it sucked.

I suggest that everyone who ever insulted the waspworts on this forum apologizes here peacefully before I inform the Worldwide Association for Waspwort Rights.
Lead by me.

Or I may prosecute you all the way to the National Court of Free Spam Alabama.
Also lead by me.

Hey, I like Waspworts.

Then again, I also like Heroes IV, so perhaps I should just stop right here before someone shoots me.

Well they can have different accents I suppose. Depending on where they live. That's rather rational.
So far I've only met British waspworts but there might be an international meeting one day. Can't wait.

LMAO Please move this to Lands of Axeoth!

I loved them too. I used to build Creature Portal as soon as possible, then go for Mantises first (simply because they were great on the offense and  fast on the adventure map). However, if danger loomed on the horizon, I'd switch to plants, which were unbeatable on the castle towers. Never led them with my main, of course.

P.S. Oh, I thought H4 rocked myself.

P.P.S. Once again, LOL @ baklava's avatar

They were cool but I usually preferred the mantises or water elementals. But then again apart from their effectiveness I did not get to like them as other units. I am neutral towards them but with you leading the association they have good chances to gain something

Creature Portal with Water Elementals was unstoppable. You got an insane number per week, and just prooved one of the many completely imbalanced ways through Heroes 4.

As for Waspwort ... I guess I'm more for killer tomtatoes, but that's just me.

The elementals were overrated.  You got heaps of Waspworts too.  It balanced out the fact that top level creatures were so weak.  I agree mantis were best pic except if you want a shooter {like vlaad said}.

The point with H4 was that armies could be imbalanced, you had to work around that - and make choices to limit the issues.  Like life, we aren't all equal, but we still can make the best of what we have

Waspworts had ranged retaliation which the elemantals lacked but the ice bolt is just too awesome during castle sieges vs enemy towering archers

Down with waspworts

I always used water elementals and cast lots of quicksand while my shooters and spellcasters killed everyone. But then, I never really played a whole lot of H4 so I'm pretty much a noob.

I bought Gathering Storm about 6 months ago, but haven't finished it yet. I should get back to it. I love the picture of that inn at the beginning, that's my favorite part

Water Elementals sucked against might heroes with magic resistance or anti-magic spell/scroll. In addition, they were waaay too slow on the adventure map.

Oh, I loved that inn myself - very Tolkienesque.
