Have you tried all these...?
- old scipts
- 3.58f updates
- Sagamosa's new Advanced Skills and Adventure Spells (available for his one map only, but still fun and with a high replay value)
Search this subforum to find more information about those.
There are also patches made by AcidDragon and Bigjocker, featuring new creatures.
ByteBandit will probably be able to give you more links. There are also interesting sites in languages other than English (Polish, Russian, etc).

There are two ways to do this.
First : you can add a new line to ZSETUP01.txt which governs what is shown in WoG options. Simply copy one of the rows and edit what's necessary.
Second : You can create an ers file and put it in the Data\s folder. Open your ERM Scripter and create a new ers file. Move your mouse over any box to see hint in the status bar. I think this method is better because you don't have to change game files.

If it is short post it here. If it's too long email it to me and I'll try to figure what's going wrong.

Also, on the WoG Archives, there are folders in the Files section with ERM scripts. We try to get as many as we can. If there is nothing there you like, we have links that could direct you on the right path to getting what you want. Hope this helps in some small way.

Ok, I played a bit with your script and it seems to be working with the ers file I made for it. I added the following lines to the beginning of your script for testing purpose :
!#UN:P78/?v1; [Check for WoG option]
!#IF&v1=1:M^1^;
!#IF&v1<>1:M^0^;
!#FU69:P;
The ers file has the following values :
Script file number 78
Page number 7
Group number 0
Item number in the group -1
Default state 0
Multiplayer state 0
ERM setup variable 78
Some random text for description, hint, pop up
As far as I can tell the only important values are the first and the last. First says that your script will be in a file called script78.erm and the last says that
!#UN:P78/?v1;
will set v1 to 1 if your script is enabled and 0 otherwise.
P.S.: The ers file should be called script78.ers naturally ;)

Well, that message can't come from nowhere. Can't you find where in your code does it come from and remove/rewrite it?

Sagamosa is working on improving and expanding his scripts but I'm not sure if he's doing it for 4.58f or 4.59 and I can't check right now because my DNS server is seriously messed up and I can't open half of the internet pages

This is what Vlaad wrote in some thread in Tribunal for Newcomers:
Quote: Cool feature, Rhodan.
In addition, to prevent smileys you can write [/smileys ] at the beginning of your post (most useful for WoG scripts).
I have seen with some of the erm scripts posted here, you can see smilies, so this feature might come in handy if you want no smilies to be there and for it to look better.
Hope this helps. And thanks Vlaad

Ste, you can get rid of those smileys easily... just type
!#UN:P78/?v1;
that way you can keep them in the rest of your post.

The question is whether I want to turn smileys off. I kind of like how the script looks with a bunch of them. I mean how many programming languages have you seen that use smileys?!?
