New 1on1 tourney map by Sir Gauvain
I’m glad to present you Sir Gauvain’s new ToE multiplayer map "Avalon". At current state it is a 1on1 map, but will most probably be a map for four factions (team play or FFA) later on.
Sir Gauvain is widely known for his map "Ability". On his new large map (with underground) you have lots of stuff to do and can expect huge battles in the end.
Most of the new ToE elements are implemented in this map and it seems to be the first ToH map with a Sunken Temple on it. Disabled spells are Instant Travel and Divine Vengeance which is a killer in huge battles.
The map was thoroughly tested by the German community and we liked the games very much.
You can get it here. Pick blue and yellow and enjoy the game. Feedback will be appreciated, especially balance wise. If there are any factions that will be too strong or too weak, please report.
PS: Doesn't Vesuvius update the ToH maps page any longer? I miss "Dueblo" ToE version, "Just another map" and "Master of Disguise" at least.

Thanks, I liked ability and hope to have fun with this one too  Btw master of disguise is in the list, dueblo too even if not tote only - why separate them anyway? Just another map is pretty recent.
Will try the map in the next few days and post my impressions.
Edit: It may seem funny but I'm not sure where I am supposed to find it. Can you post a direct link?

One of my favorite map is still...Ability...but I dont know german and dont feel like to register on that site...could you post a link from where I can take this one?..thx

well on Master of Disgiuse there is several Sunken Temple but I did'nt use then for treasure hunting....
Ive started on my new map "The Dragon Slayer" now but then I got another task to do:Creature texture sharpen...
so not sure when I can complete my new one.... (and on this I wanna overcome Master of Disguise.... (first I've implanted an new "beast" who join you up on day 1 to get rid of some nasty dragons.... then you'll let him go and the carry out your mission alone....

my first impression
I've got 2 Gb DDR3, 8800GTS, dual core CPU 6300@1,86Ghz and still it seems that the map is too loaded...its scrolling heavily...
what about you guyz?

Hello all,
thx to Mystic for posting my map. Ability will be upgraded soon. Avalon, is a 2-player version at the moment. I am working on the 4-player and 2on2 version. With this map I did want to create a non rush map. However I am sure that there is going to be someone who will be able to beat the map in a short time.

fraudatio on I is in a middle of an "hero" battle at this map right now... wow an amazing map "Sir" very nice indeed... a few minor .. (like trees in the middle of some academy buildings in the desert... keep up the good work we need mapmakers....!!!
Just finish it.... and here is some pics....
well this map is just so freakin good.... can't wait until next time I can get a "run" on this....
