Is plague tent worth it?
Can someone tell me if a use of plague tent counts as a first aid tent use? The only time I would use it is before any of my units took damage, and if it depletes the number of times I can then use it for healing in a long battle, I would rather pass on it.

That's a worthless remainder of the original H5 where you could not take triple ballista with all heroes. No sense to waste your healing shots to do extra damage when you can get a better ballista. Except in small maps where there is no warmachine factory and the town does not have a cheap ballista but even then there are better picks.

First of all I'm wondering if the shots which affect the enemies count as healing shots... i.e. after hurting the enemy 3 times can you still heal your troops.
second, the damage is really weak. It could be used to kill a phantom forced stack or deal some damage early game, but I doubt it is still viable after week 3 or so.
Better stick to Triple Ballista/First Aid Combo
IMO it should be removed.
We should have a mod that removes some of the useless perks in order to avoid the upsetting perk flood from ToE

Yeah, that was my main question Oakie, but I think the shots do count against your heals if I understand Mod correctly. No more PT for me!

TBH, i think its better to spend the level-up elsewhere.
Although its always nice to see your enemy dieing, there are other abilities far more useful.

Plague Tent is never worth it. There should be something where it does damage then casts Decay spell whose power is dependent on your Hero's level and War Machines expertise.

I agree, it should be a Decay casting tent, i mean the Plague didnt stop after one cough, now did it?

That might actually be a good suggestion, have a duration and possibly a modifier to its damage so it can scale accordingly to the hero level.

It should NOT be removed. Plague tent can be rather handy when you don't want the healing part. Think in battles against neutrals. Would you rather have the F.A.T. do nothing or deal some applicable damage. And I don't see the "not a lot of damage" thing. My Plague Tents generally deal 200-250 damage. That's good in the beginning.

Last I checked it was 100 damage? Oh wait you must have been using Kaspar, he's a different case.

Exactly. Hmmm...I guess its not really good in other peoples hands. If only their were some way that every other hero would have a Decay Tent and Kaspar keeps his plague Tent.

The plague tent can be quite useful in the hands of a high level Kaspar. Plus is funny to see a stack drop dead after being hit my it. One secong the stack is fine, then next, they're on the ground without being hit by anything.
But as it was said above, now that every faction can get triple ballista, I suggest taking that instead.

Even with kaspar I'd rather the tent resurrected my creatures leaving my hero free to cast some proper dark magic instead of a raise dead.

First Aid Tent resurrects creatures from every faction and neutral creatures. Kaspar is nice in early game with his tent. You won't lose almost any creatures, thanks to tent and raise dead.

You won't lose anything anyway with necropolis since every hero has raise dead, so who needs kaspar..

In earlygame you don't have high knowledge and raise dead costs 9 mana and if you are inexperienced player you propably lose creatures.

Yea but, if you take a little care, you will prob. be able to maintain nearly all creatures+necromancy, and think of late game too, itll be practically useless then.
