if have to guess its meaning would be somthing like 'a barefoot soldier running screaming through bloody battlefield towards nowhere'

In the new clan season that eventually will come - is it possible (and a good idea) to have a clan type that always go random? Of course you can be a rouge, but 2 points is really too little if you always go random all, and many of us like to play all random.
Any thoughts?

i suggest for all clans to go random. this way all maps will be open for any combination, preventing lines like "on thismap sylvan has no chance, lets play X map (where i know sylvan is the best cough cough) or, i only play that map (of course with sylvan), etc.."
lets go wild!, cause ther are alot of people who didnt even play once with other race but theyre keep playing same map with same race all over again and dont accept any other option. poetry what the snow...
same battlefields, same conditions in the start. let the fate decide, let them adapt , improvise and win if theyre capable, no time for indulgence.
at last , but not the least, let there be love!!! (/pointing at aculias : i know if u were a moderator i could have had a bonus applied for this sentence ).

True pro in Warcraft 3 play one race all the time, random players have no good results .... In interview best orc Grubby said night elf's are imba, then asked way he not switch to elf's, he respond he need half year of training to reach the same performance as he have with orc's ...
I think situation in Heroes 5 is similar to Warcraft 3, Heroes 5 is also complex game, i play only Sylvan and each game still learn something new about this faction ... I can't imagine to by Necro, Inferno, my life position is too different to play even in virtual worlds this evil

This is what I have been saying all the time. So you win 8 out of 10 matches with the same race on the same map. Even with a bit of randomness, it really isn't that big. It would be a little (but not much) more impressive if you used different towns, even on the same exact map.
What is the true sign of skill, is not needing a certain race or hero, or both. Even if you only win 3 out of 7. Or 2 out of 7. Especially if your opponit has to have that 'certain' race, hero, map or some combination.

I can't play the same map two times in row, it's boring ... But faction is different story ... I want to save the world with Sylvan ... Not to turn it in undead, or turn it in hell with Inferno ... I want to by good
To Antipaladin - can you give me example of random WC3 player wining big competition ? Then Moon, Remind, Tod, etc play another race, not native, this is a sensation ....

Not boring at all, i can't use the same tactic on all maps, against all factions ... For example i go light magic against Necro and Inferno, but destructive magic against stronghold ... And loosing all the time against fortress Game is so complex, after years of playing good tactics will still appear...

Meh you have played I don't know how many games with sylvan, do you really enjoy it so much? Try something else once in a while, variety is good. And heck, with the strategy guides around it takes much less to get accustomed to a new faction. If you play once single or against a newbie with an unknown faction and follow the advice you have a lot to learn.

Lol, I am absolutely terrible with Academy but even I will play it for the challenge from time to time. Personally I like Stronghold and Sylvan. Still you have to play what you like. Honestly it doesn't matter. Sometimes it gets a little irksome to hear people spouting off how 'good' they are under very controlled circumstances.
(IE same town, map, ect). Takes a bit more skill to be able to do it regardless of what you are 'stuck' with. IMO that is.
