[Mod TotE] Ballista Towers (and more siege combat fun!)

I got inspiration for this mod after playing the dark messiah map.
A flaming ballista on the central tower from the haven town looks great!. It also seems logical to me that the central tower has a more powerful shooter then the side towers, so I decided to create a nice mix for every town. Here is the changelist:

Haven: Flaming Ballista on central tower, archers on sidetowers
Fortress: Rune mage on central tower, spearthrowers on sidetowers
Stronghold: Centaur on central tower, goblins on sidetowers
Necropolis: Lich on central tower, Skeleton Archers on sidetowers
Sylvan: Druid on central tower, Wood Elves on sidetowers
Dungeon: Witch on central tower, Scouts on towers
Academy: gremlins on sidetowers, Gremlin Master on Central tower (unfortunately the tower is too small for something else)
Inferno: No changes (central tower has no platform)

This mod makes only visual changes and doesn't make any changes to the damage of the towers. Here are some screenshots:

Here is the download link, unpack after download and place in usermods folder:

Ballista Towers Zip

The mod was designed for Toe, but it may work for 1.6 and 2.2 too (just try).

I tried, the problem is his cape, it goes through the wall and floats in the air ignoring gravity.

The elephants are much to big to be placed on top of such a thin tower. You should also question how it should reach the top, probably not by taking the stairs.

Anyway, thanks everyone for the positive comments!

Such a small change hardly deserves a mod. I wanted to create some more variation, so sorry. In my opinion the skeletons look funny.

Damage and abilities do not matter, all tower damage is unchanged for balance reasons. This is only a visual change. That's another reason why I placed weaker units on the side towers because it adds realism.

Another great work from Magnomagus. It's an excellent mod to make sieges less bland. Now, if only you control the towers to cast spells...

Just for the info: in case of the towers the shot effect is seperated from the creature visual. So I could make a lich throwing goblins for example, although the movements of the hands/staff wouldn't fit.

Not exactly the town files are linking to a combination of a character and shot file.
