Ok, here is the foundation. (wow a lot more people then I thought, woohoo!). You can search any room for clues (not just the room the murder took place in). However, you can search one room at a time (since you are only 1 person, can't be in two places at once). It is a given that each person searches the room where the murder took place, so no need to post you search that room. There may not be any other clues (only me and the murderer will know), but there could be. Also, the extras (the butler, ect) will generally stay in one room, so to question them you have to search that room.
There will always be clues, just a matter of finding them (wouldn't be much of a mystery without clues). Since so many have signed up already, I will set the scene of the first murder, and send an HCM to the 'murderer'. Remember, the case is active until everybody either gives up (in which case the murderer will be revealed) or somebody solves the case. Below is the scene of the first murder. I hope everybody enjoys.
Mr. Kazi Nasu, an oriental industrialist specializing in disposing of toxic waste, was found dead this morning. He was found strangled from behind, but no signs of struggle. A empty shot glass was found beside his hand, evidence that it had been full of scotch had been in it, and also spilled on the carpet. The maid found the body about 5 am, the last time anybody else had been in the room was at 10pm (other then the murderer and Mr. Nasu). A neatly folded napkin was in laying in front of him on a table, and was undisturbed.
Mr. Nasu had been under investigation for illegally dumping waste. Quite a few people held a grudge against him. It is rumored he may have been blackmailing one or two of the guests here. He was found in the Den.

Just warning everybody, there are a few 'red herrings' out there.  . People who have motive, but are not the murderers. More of a challenge that way. Now to update the masterpost with the players .
Edit : Also, the reason for the searching of other rooms is 2 fold. 1) Only if in a room with somebody can you question them. IE if you are in the kitchen, you can not question somebody in one of the bedrooms. Everybody starts out in the room where the murder takes place, except the 'extras' unless noted (Extras being the cook, butler, ect).
2) Not all clues will be only in the room where the murder took place. So if you want to know more, you have to search further.

Yes, that is exactly how it works. . Also, you can research the murder room (never know what may have been overlooked). You are currently in that room, and can describe anything extra you may be doing there.

There is a faint smell of bourban (not scotch). It is neatly folded, even though things around it have been disturbed (not greatly, but noticably). No fingerprints or anything else can be found.

I'm going to the library, and reads a lot of crime books(not every side. just the first 20 an the last 20 pages in every book i find) in couse of the murder killed Mr. Nasu was killed like in one book.
