Actually our professor at school never bothered with these. We did some tasks and the occasional composition but overall it was a free hour.

Well, that's great, but our teacher deemed it necessary to take 8 hours (i.e. two weeks) of our time to rehearse the tenses. So... It's a bit depressing, but I'm half-way and I'm somehow charishing the hope that English can still be fun to do.

8 hours..? We had 2 and we were basically doing whatever we wanted in class. Anyway I've had one of those boring days, having exams on logistics in the morning. Can't say I love the subject and I absolutely hate the professor, not a good combination.

I'm luckier than that, I have an affinity for languages especially English. Which basically means I never really studied the rules, I could learn just by watching from class. Wish that applied to other studies but I guess one can't have it all.

That's how I learn too. I don't really care for rules, it comes to me naturally  Through observing how others speak and write. Unfortunately, applies to English, only. >.>
And I seriously prefer boring stuff over stressful stuff in school.

Well, I'll post here as well, because I have to read 'The Sorrow Of Belgium' today. It's a great, big monster, consisting of 700 pages of unbreachable monologue. I have to actually finish it and make a plot synopsis... Two hundred pages left *sigh*

As I was telling a friend there are three types of boredom.
The first is mild apathy, you are bored and that's cool. The second is rather annoying. The third is suffering - For possible symptoms refer to the masterpost.
Today I came dangerously close to the third one. Having had a really busy schedule for a while, I had forgotten the horror.
