Jebus XL NATIVE tactics

Hello,

I would like to know the tactic you use for the following:
A. When we begin with 2 heroes week one on jebus xl native, we have the choice between:

1) going towards 2nd and 3rd castle from day one with both heroes to have 2 or 3 towns asap,

--> But then if there is a block (not even big as we only have day one troops)we can't take the castle and we also don't have time enough to take troops and makes fights for dwellings.

--> if we can reach them, the main goes too far from the centre and must come back loosing days, but on the other hand the income is good.
In this case we are ok for money but delayed in the game by covering too much distance with the main.

2) going straight into the fight with the main, collect with the scout, and about day 4, take additional troops in the castle and fight for the dwellings, or dwarven, crypts etc.

this is the option I prefer, but in this case, we often suffer for the money, earning only 500 week one and 1000 begin of week 2 , except if we find the gold mines soon. Then we can not buy many troops and enter in the more difficult fights.

--> in this case we are delayed in the game by lack of income and experience of the main, and the main cannot do all fights we would wish because he lacks of troops (that we can't afford yet).

B. How do you put your troops on the 3 heroes week 2 ?

1) Do you go in 3 directions with 3 heroes who have each enough troops to fight ? In this case, the main is not followed by a second who carry slow troops, fodders but we discover much more area

2) Do you go with main followed by a second carrier ? In this case, the main is much quicker, but we risk to have uncovered area in week 2 and miss important dwellings, boxes, arties still not discovered.

I would be interested and curious to know your opinion about that
Thanks

What I sometimes do also, is to go towards 2nd and 3rd castle with both heroes, then retreat main, leave the few troops in the 2nd town, and buy him back in the centre. Then he can go begin week 2 with more troops, because the income week one was better. Later I will bring these troops back when a scout goes there around.

This is a good option that prevents delay in the main's route, and enables him to not miss fights begin of week two but we miss the dwellings we could have week one. That's also a pity

I pick up stuff with my scout around the town and then go back to the town day 1. The main follows the road and go for whatever usefull stuff he sees. Day 2 I bring him new troops with the scout, then the scout heads in another direction, often towards the 3rd town. The main follows the road towards the 2nd town. Its usefull to follow the road because you can scout some more because of the better movement.

Week 2 the 2nd hero works on his own scouting and picking up stuff and the 3rd hero brings troops to the main and takes slow troops at the end of the day etc. I normally have all my army by the main.

Really depends on town u start.
With Castle, u do not need to come back day 1, coz u normally don't have extra troops ond day 2 to bring to main hero (day 1 mageguild, day 2 blacksmith....)
With stronghold, it depends if wolves are prebuilt. If so, my main (mostly Gurni on natives..) gets 3 rocs (and his balista), while other hero gets goblins and wolves.
I think advantage of splitting your army i first week is, 1 block on 1 road won't ruin everything, coz u still have a 2nd "joker". If your main reaches a block on the end of let's say day 3, the scout will probably be 5 days away...and doesn't carry any army.

And yes, very often I let those 3 rocs in neutral town and make poorman's townportal to bring back main hero day 7 to main town. Then I buy the new hero day 1 in that new town, and he brings those rocs back to main town and on his way he can fight some things with starting army and 3 rocs. While main hero has 3 behemots and does the bigger things.

Thanks very much for your feed back.

BTW, I read these interesting threads about heroes ranking. I would have put about the same ...

But, here is another ranking:

what is your order of favorite town for a jebux xl native ??? (apart from necro and conflux)

For my part I would put

1. stronghold
--> early breaker, order of building is the best, cheap troops, secondary skills are the best suited for native, log, tactics, earth, air, etc .
2 fortress
--> best with stronghold for me, for the secondary skills the heroes take, few attack and more defense is good for tope, not so much for early break than stronghold
3 tower
--> this is a little the same in order of building as the rampart, but with the inconvenience of snow >< visit of hives, and cons cannot be made without slowing heroes. However, at the difference with rampart the giants are easy to build, this is only their upgrade that needs so many gems.
4 rampart
--> we can enter deep into the matter (fights) week one, but building dragons week 2 forces to find the crystal and money for it, and prevents to put the priority on other things
5 inferno
--> many heroes are good, we can often build devils week one, and in the worst case, effreets are very ok to make all the necessary fights if we get devils week two
6 castle
--> awful on native, in skills of the heroes, and we spend all the first week to look after each of the ressources, any blocking results in angels no castle. Things begin only on week 2. But then we recuperate the delay by being able to fight with angels, and have a better speed than others until the end of the game.
7 dungeon --> this is the same problem as rampart for the dragons, but still they are more expensive, and we don't have the unicorns, so the dragons are more necessary for break

If it was on regular xl, the order would be completely different, I would then put

1. Castle
2. Stronghold
3. Rampart
4. Dungeon
5. Fortress
6. Tower
7. Inferno

Definitely, I like how natives brings another dimension to a jebus XL.
