It was an cold November day.... Sinitar had come to the land called "Dead Man's Lake" When he first entered his town he surely get frustrated.... 'what an poor poor town' nothing to get only a few beers from a dirty tavern..... thats all...
but then he notice something.... (in a dark corner of that tavern) a few "mighty" Stalkers sitting by an to tall table...
Sinitar walked across the floor... an gave those mighty ones a few beers.... and asked what if you joined me on a looting....?
a few seconds of silence.... then... oh sure we will
Then at the same night Sinitar and his gang of the Mighty Stalkers went out for a "raid".... the days went by until the second Wednesday of the first month.... at that time Sinitar had gone far south into the land of the "Dead Man".... but so far been able to grow up to an powerfull Warlock (cause of his "Mighty" Stalkers....) but now he had come across an impossible task.... in front of his tiny army stood 150 Vampire Lords... an their task was to let no one get pass the foggy swamp...
but think again.... what should Sinitar be afraid of... sure an Trong of Vampire Lords should scare anybody, but then again he had an Mighty army so he stood there for a few minutes and went into battle... (loaded with nasty warlock spells)
his Mighty Stalkers split up (as they do the best) an the battle went on.... first to act all stalkers... they just turn invisible..... when the first powerful stack of Vampires saw that they just turn into a stone (yes they surlely did'nt know what to do...) all the rest of the Vampires did the same... Next to act.. Sinitar..... he Grabbed his powerful Magic book (looked at page 3)
hmmmm... firewall well seems nice since all of this stupid Vampires just stand still like nothing gonna happend....
("/#&!)!##/& (Sinitar mumble) and there out of nothing a mighty wall of fire surrounded all of those Vampires.... 3 min. later they all disappear........
tralalala Sinitar moves on nothing gonna stop me now.....

Still one or two vampire stacks could have moved first making things quite harder. But yeah you have a point

Unfortunatly I think I am gonna add dungeon to my no play list until something gets done with them... Seems silly for me to bust my but fighting thru a map and my opponent strolls thru effortlessly.

just saw this movie 'Stalker' (1979), you must love Tarkovsky - no choice there
.. btw i dont even know how to creep with them bitcves but i think i understand what you guys talk about..

You guys are exagerrating
Sure Stalker creeping is strong, but without it Dungeon would have to hot and run as their creatures are not strong enough to withstand a late game battle.

half true yes, in many maps dont matter much, in others (as deleb, lets fight, dml etc) they rule

Warlocks don't really fight with army .. even during 1.0+ or hof days, you don't break dml or bfh with any troops, only furies usually since they can flee fastest if things go wrong.
All long dungeon = hero only race.
Its just stalkers improve their number of spells cast they get in creeping. That's all 
Of course, the firewall trick is kinda bugged, that's for sure. Ignite/fireball is already strong enough for them

Well that's early game. End-game the destruction power of the warlock is diminished and you need to use your army to even up the odds.
